Martock Dental Practice

Hygienist appointment today. Reception staff always pleasant & helpful. Very pleased with my clean & shiny teeth! Hygienist had her work cut out as I've not been able to get a dentist for a while but she was as gentle as possible & kept checking if I was OK all the way through.

I had my bi-annual hygienist appointment with Jane today and whilst going to the hygienist is never the most pleasant of experiences, Jane makes it absolutely bearable. She is personable, kind and understanding - quite apart from being excellent at her job. I am very pleased to have signed up to my dental plan and the practice seems to be going from strength to strength.

After no real dental treatment for so long, and no hygienist offered either, there was much to do, so I was expecting pain.
All dealt with so well. Very grateful. My first visit here is encouraging. Thank you.

Ewan has a perfect 'bedside manner' especially for those that have an acute gag reflex. Just had a root canal filling. It was with great trepidation that I entered the surgery, but he made me feel extremely comfortable. His confident and professional manner also helped to put my mind at rest and he managed the entire procedure without me embarrassing myself by gagging and having to abandon the treatment.

I wanted a second opinion on the next stages of treatment for my teeth, as age has reduced my molars and wear has increased as a result. I chose the Martock practice for convenience, and the excellent reviews.
The 45 minute check I had with Lakshmi was outstanding. I could not have asked for more by way of detailed examination, followed by a clear and concise de-brief and explanations. All carried out in an immaculate and most pleasant professional environment. Five stars does not do justice to this practice.

As a new patient, I found my first appointment very reassuring. I thought my new dentist Terri was very thorough in her examination and took the time to explain everything I needed to know. Such a refreshing change from the experience I had with my last dentist. In fact, I am very impressed with the setup and professional approach of this practice.

I hadn't been to see a dentist in years & was feeling pretty anxious. I needn't have worried. I attended for a hygienist visit and found all the staff friendly, professional and welcoming. I'm feeling better about my upcoming dental work in 2 weeks because I feel like I'm in safe hands.

I have nothing but good things to say about this dental practice - friendly, reassuring staff who deal with tricky procedures excellently. Even when they are faced with such difficult procedures, as a patient you feel you can have 100% confidence in the dental practitioners.

In the last few weeks I have had a filling with Samantha and seen the hygienist Naomi, both have treated me kindly and respectfully. I am still fairly new to this surgery but am glad I made the switch. The whole team from the Receptionists to the Assistants are all customer focused. A huge thank you

Hygienist appointment today, which I was dreading, but, turned out the best experience I have ever had having my teeth cleaned. All the staff are professional, friendly, cheerful and helpful.

The dentist was extremely thorough, explained the state of my teeth with pictures after having new XRays. We spoke about the possibility of teeth whitening, tooth straightening and alternative treatment for my sleep apnoea. An amazing lady, wish she could be my dentist all the time.

As soon as they had space they took me on as a new patient. Lakshmi Kannegatti explained exactly what they were going to do this session, listened carefuly to what I said and wanted, and suggested follow-up appointment times, along with the hygienist very fairly. I never felt I was being pressured into anything.

Had my first appointment. Lovely friendly staff, very helpful. The building has modern fresh rooms.

I have been going to this dentist for some time now, and they have always been very professional and helpful. Lakshmi was very helpful and explained all I need to know for a tooth that had broken away and was able to rebuild it, also they went out of there way to try and fit me in earlier, but unfortunately we were away. Thank you for all you do and for following up on a root canal I had done earlier

I had two fillings which was carried out by Terri. And her assistant
I am normally a nervous wreck in a dentist chair, but, once again they made me feel relaxed, and did a good dental job on my fillings

My first visit to Martock Dental Surgery was very pleasant. Reception ladies were smiley and helpful. The nurse who called me after a short wait was also very pleasant. The dentist was thorough in his examination, very pleasant to talk with and explained the set-up, options and costs in an easy to understand way. Altogether, top marks!

Very welcoming, professional and helpful receptionists. Highly knowledgeable dentists, who take time to explain in detail. Would highly recommend.

Myself & my daughter had an appointment with Jane this morning 27/11/23 … though going to the dentist is never very enjoyable we were made comfortable & well looked after.
