One of the most beautiful wine shops I have ever seen. All the wine you need, friendly team who are really happy to assist. Also the very stylish wine pod/cellar is a must see.

Very knowledgeable staff who have introduced me to some lovely new wines. Very efficient delivery service. I can highly recommend a wine tasting event in the very capable hands of Callum Edge who really knows his stuff!

A fabulous selection of wines, to suit all budgets, a really great range from everyday to high end. The best value wines are the ones they import directly, and the majority of these are organic/sustainable so can be enjoyed with a clear conscience.

A superb service and from an excellent team who really know their wines. I even got mine delivered 🚛. Taurus come very highly recommend.

I've been really quite lazy by not explaining why this hidden treasure recieves 5 stars from me.
If needing wines or drinks for a dinner party... or any party for that matter, it's really worth going out of your way to this Mecca of Wine!
And... the staff are super helpful, know their stuff (and if don't, will call for help or look it up) and all service is delivered with a smile.
They even carry your purchases to your car (unlike other certain large chains of Wine merchants).

Excellent selection of wines, spirits, specialty beers and mixers available, plus some yummy snacks to accompany any drinks party. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, quick to give suggestions on food pairing, new tasters for the adventurous, from all over the world, and under the excellent leadership of owner Rupert. Prices match the bigger warehouses from everyday to very rare and special bottles. They also offer regular wine tasting and learning events, which are great fun. Same day and named day delivery available based on location. Bought through Taurus Wines for over 15 years and cannot fault.

Super knowledgeable staff always there to give recommendations. Make sure you go to one of the tastings too!

I’ve been buying wine from Rupert for well over a decade now and, quite simply, it’s the best wine shop around, run by the friendliest and most knowledgeable wine people around. They achieve that rare thing in the wine world which is generous and deep wells of knowledge and advice without a whiff of pretension or pressure. Whether it’s a single inexpensive bottle, or a case of something special, you will always be made warmly welcome.

They have recently spent a small fortune moving (20 or so yards!) and fitting out their premises to an incredibly high standard, so now it’s also the most beautiful wine shop around too. If you want great wine and great service, you will not be disappointed.

The guys in Taurus are incredibly friendly and are more than happy to share their knowledge. I have ordered on-line for delivery in the past and was always incredibly impressed by the rapid response, the wine often arriving on the afternoon the order was put in. In recent weeks I have started popping in to the shop, which is well laid out and also has a selection if local beers and gin to peruse.

The only place to go for your wine; a well-curated selection, with friendly staff who are always happy to chat and share their knowledge. A great selection to taste on the enomatics too. And the newly renovated barn is worth a trip itself!
