Peaceful woodland camping in a great spot along the Pembrokeshire coastal path. A great base for day trips and walkers.
We enjoyed the site at an off peak time so had plenty of space to ourselves with lots of privacy. The facilities were clean and well maintained with attentive and friendly owners who checked in with us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed.
Would recommend for active, seasoned campers, dog walkers and beach lovers.

Blessed

We camped at the Eco Escape Campsite the weekend just passed, the 2nd / 3rd of September. Schools were in the process of going back, and as such we had the campsite to ourselves, bar one other person camping.

Further the UK is in the midst of some really favourable camping weather with temperatures in the mid 20s. All this combined with the fact that the campsite is extremely well maintained, cleaned and has fantastic facilities made for a truly blessed staying.

Would recommend this site to anyone and everyone!

One of the best campsites we’ve ever been to in a gorgeous part of the world! The set up is fantastic and we had an amazing level of privacy and some stunning views over the valley. I’d recommend this to anyone and the people who run it are fantastic! We’re really looking forward to coming back next summer!!

We really enjoyed it here. We stayed in birchwood and had plenty of space. It was like out own camp within a campsite. The camp fire was fun and easy to use. The shelter had a picnic table and all this within the pitch. The showers where clean and roomy also with the toilets. Milford haven marine Close by with cafes along the front. I'd recommend Spinnaker for a full English breakfast. We stayed for a week and loved it. Thanks to Keith the farmer who popped by now and then to offer help and guidance. A lovely camp site that is quiet with all you need nearby. Also if you like photography there is a walk along the coastal path that id recommend. Thanks to all at the site and I'm sure we will be back some time in the future. Lee and Michael.

We enjoyed a weekend here camping in a quiet secluded woodland pitch. The facilities were great, and the pitch was well protected from strong winds and rain overnight. Booking was easy and plenty of information provided before our arrival. Well recommended.

Beautiful eco campsite and great facilities. We stayed in the hay meadow, lots of information provided. Good layout and everything was thought through well. Keith came to say hey and was spot on with weather tips. Such a nice area and easy to reach beaches within driving distance. Little hut had freezer to refreeze your coolpacks and had lots of information about local area.

Stayed for 2 nights and it was really lovely and a calming experience! The toilets and showers were perfect and clean and great for people who need a little home comfort. Definitely important to note that the road/track leading to the campsite is very small and the grass will rattle the underside of your car (if you're precious about it!). The firepit wasn't quite as advertised but once we got it going, it was still fit for purpose. Bonus points for the wind turbines nearby - I find them very calming against the backdrop of Wales' oil industry 😅

My husband and our 4 year old stayed on one of the woodland pitches and it was wonderful. Truly connected to nature in a peaceful and green environment. Surrounded by brambles with an abundance of blackberries ripe for the picking! Toilet & showers were very clean as well as a washing up station. We appreciated the supply of loo roll, washing up liquid and even some shampoo & conditioner! Thank you for providing a great eco-escape!

Beautiful campsite. Peaceful but with great facilities. Loved the wooden gazebo providing cover for the picnic bench and fire pit. Showers and toilets very clean. Keith, Kirsty's Dad came round to welcome us and offered us great tips for local but lesser known beaches. Highly recommend this site and we will definitely be returning.

We were attracted to Eco Escape Campsite for its ‘eco’ credentials, and we weren’t disappointed. Between beautiful wild meadows and surrounded by clean energy, we felt so relaxed and connected. We both suffer from stress and anxiety, and this holiday, and campsite really helped us to unwind, relax, and enjoy ourselves. The showers and toilets were absolutely brilliant; very clean, and easy to use. The surrounding countryside feels unfettered, and healthy, which in this world isn’t always the case. We had a fire pit, and there was lumber and kindling on-site with easy access. We had correspondence via text with the owners, and it was quick, polite, and helpful. We visited off season - June - but there were others on the campsite. They were all lovely people, very friendly but respectful. I will 100% be visiting again, and will look forward to it.

Great campsite with lovely spacious pitches. We've loved our stay here with its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our Pitch had a wooden shelter bench and fire pit which were fantastic!
The facilities are clean and airy, we never had to wait our turn for the shower once.
It was lovely to have a chat with Keith who shared some of his local knowledge, weather advice and suggestions on which beach would be best for the conditions of the day.
I'm sure we'll be back again sometime!

An absolute gem! A great family 'get away from it all' campsite or couple wanting quite retreat. A campsite with high ethical / moral approaches, which meant it's pitches have more than plenty of space allocated to them. Each pitch has a fire pit and garden bench - great to eat around. There are 3 different sections to the campsite, with the woodland area giving a very secluded feel while the hay and flower meadows are open and light areas. Hot showers and clean toilets too. Can not be recommended strongly enough.

We wanted a camping experience that was unique and as gentle on the environment as possible, and eco escape did not disappoint!! Very friendly throughout the booking process, extremely accommodating under extenuating circumstances which was greatly appreciated. The campsite is nestled in among fields and trees, so much space between pitches it was so private, very peaceful, and calming. Showers and toilets really lovely, all kept clean as is the campsite. Each campsite has a firepit with grill on top, we had a shelter and a hammock also, the individual pitch set up made you feel like different "rooms" if that makes sense, so much space. Can pre-order wood and charcoal which is lovely. Lovely little reception hut with some local information, some items to borrow and a lost and found. Clearly lots of personal touches and effort gone into designing this site to be gentle on the senses but very accommodating to all your needs. Great to see the wind turbines from the site powering it all. "Campsite Clive" is the owner's father and does an evening walk around to ensure no problems, very welcoming gent, lovely to have that personal touch and be able to ask questions or just enjoy a glass of wine with a new friend as the sun goes down. Highly recommend this campsite to anyone with an eco focus and looking to explore Pembrokeshire, which is breathtaking and still relatively tourist free, wonderful! Would be happy to go back anytime and highly recommend.

We visited with a small camper and pop up tent. Adult and 15 year old. Chose at random due to location (visiting Stack Rock Fort) but would return. The pre arrival communication was excellent and and although the entrance is not too obvious, it was very easy to find. In fact all communication was excellent and although we didn't need any assistance, I'm confident we would have got it had it been required.

The site was beautifully maintained. Our camper pitch was spacious and the use of the picnic table and fire pit were welcome. We had excellent mobile signal for when we got fed up talking to each other.
We were careful to split our waste to meet the Eco requirements and this was made easy with the selection of container and bags provided for the purpose.

The toilets and showers were immaculate and the showers hot with good pressure. There was a little walk from the field to the toilets or the showers, it wasn't far but would have needed a torch after dark.

We didn't use the solar phone charging, but did use the freezer pack swap. I have no idea if we had the same ones going home, but they were the same shape and size!

This is the first Greener Camping Club site we have stayed at, but I'm sure it won't be the last. Was worth the extra £10 annual membership to give us a taste.

We stayed in the woodland area and absolutely loved it. It felt like wild camping - we couldn't see anyone else from our pitch. The covered over picnic area is a genius idea (what with Welsh weather). The lovely owners came round to deliver wood chips to soak up ground water and that kept us dry and comfortable. Highly recommend this site :)

Absolutely can't recommend this hidden getaway enough! So glad we stumbled upon it while we were looking for places to camp close to Pembroke. We loved the fire pit at each site, the hot running water for showers AND for washing dishes, listening to the wind in the trees (and nothing else) and the helpful self-service info hut. We got to re-freeze our very unfrozen icepacks, get some tips for what to do with our days and borrow the baby bath for our lil one to have a nice warm bath. We even needed to move pitches as with our baby and my partner not being able to carry heavy loads we needed to be closer to our car (FYI cars aren't allowed on site) and they didn't mind at all. We'll be back for sure!

Thanks for a brilliant stay! Really beautiful and secluded campsite, we loved our woodland pitch with picnic bench, tarp cover and fire pit / bbq. The facilities were spot on, really clean and in good working order. It was really helpful to have a freezer for ice packs and wheelbarrows for kit - great touches. Really well located for exploring Pembrokeshire. We look forward to visiting again one day!

What an amazing and magical campsite. We pitched at Birchwood and we couldn’t have been more happier. Probably the cleanest and most accommodating campsite I have ever been on. BIG spaces well laid out, clean toilets and large shower cubicles. The owners are friendly, helpful and provide a freezer for your ice blocks, not to mention fabulously clean washing up facilities (they even supplied washing up liquid). The cleaning staff are around every day and do a tremendous job of maintaining the splendour of Eco Escape Campsite. We will definitely be back and would recommend staying here to anybody. 5 stars out of 5, well deserved.

Amazing campsite, can't recommend it enough. We stayed in the Campervan field. There was so much space and everything from the toilets, to the showers to the kitchen was immaculate. We were warmly greeted and given some great advice about where to visit.
It was really important for us to find a campsite that was eco-friendly and this fitted the bill perfectly. We actually took all our recyclables and rubbish back home with us, but the set up here is great and it's made very easy for you to be conscious.
We would 100% recommend staying here and can't wait to visit again!
Thanks for a great stay,
Sophie and Joe

This is the best campsite I have ever been too. The location is perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire, fantastic quiet and private pitches (the woodland pitches especially) great for couples and families. The facilities are first class, with little added extras of shelters, hammocks, charging points, ice packs and options to buy firewood and bbq packs. Brilliant family run business, Kirsty the owner is so lovely and helpful.

We will be back soon!!
