We were lucky enough to be staying in Winscombe when the late night Christmas shopping was on. We popped into The Wine Shop and had a lovely chat with the owners. They were very knowledgeable, and even though we are not wine drinkers as such, we left with a wonderful bottle of Golden Rum. Highly recommend these lovely people :)

Well worth a visit. Went in to buy a bottle of Wine , asked for advice and bought two great wines. The owners have tremendous knowledge of every wine. Since they've been going for +10 years they must be doing something right.

Popped in on Saturday whilst staying locally and bought a very lovely Cava.

Great little shop. Recently went to a sparkling wine & champagne tasting event there and was pleasantly surprised at the friendly knowledge on offer. I've driven past many times, will definitely pop in next time.

Cannot recommend this lovely little wine specialist enough.
I've been a number of times over the past few years when visiting family in the area. The shop is small, but has a selection that far out punches the floor space. The staff are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and down to earth. I was given a wonderful North to South Portuguese tasting selection for a cozy evening. Tell them what you are after. Or what you want to learn. Trust the advice. Well worth travelling the extra mile.

Fantastic wine shop, great selection across the price range. Not the usual brands you would find in a supermarket…. But this is a good thing £ for £ the wine will be of far higher quality and worth it.

We have an incredibly great service from Kelly and Matthew . Amazing wines and prosecco. Because we are also busy people , at Christmas we request cases of red , white and bubbles plus chocolates for friends and family . We just leave the request with these lovely people , knowing that what they choose for us ( plus deliver) will just be amazing . Forever a delight .

I love this shop, everytime I'm in winscombe visiting family I make sure to pop in. If you go you MUST pick up a bottle of Oatley Vineyard wine, as this is the only shop where you can buy it (normally you have to go directly to the Vineyard). The staff are so helpful and friendly. If you are a wine novice like me, don't worry you don't get judged for not knowing what you like!

Wonderful service. Buying a mixed case means I’ve broadened my taste in wines which I would never have done before. Good value and a great delivery service!

A Great local wine shop with a wide range of wines, and whose owners use their knowledge of wine to help customers select wines. They offer regular deliveries to your home, hold tastings and courses. Well worth supporting.
