SLINGERS Smokeworks Station Road

I have come here a couple of times. I've tried the drinks, the food and the darts.

This place has a unique industrial aesthetic I love. Including some really cool light pathways that light up when you press a button to call.the waiter.

The food was fairly unremarkable for a vegetarian, but serviceable. Probably a better choice for meat-eaters.

The drinks were weird to a European like me, for example a coke with vanilla ice cream in it, but surprisingly nice!

Finally, me and the group I went with had great fun with the dart games. There were plenty of game modes to play, it detected the score automatically pretty reliably, and it was overall a great time.

The lunch meal for £10 was on the spot: a decent burger with delicious fries. They also had a happy hour offer on drinks during the day. The place has a good atmosphere with friendly staff who take dietary requirements seriously. Particularly innovative is the light switch at the tables to call the waiters.

Great atmosphere and incredible food! Best wings we have ever had! Got the Korean BBQ and Buffalo n Blue wings done crispy and wow, so good- the flavours were great and crispy wings were perfectly done! We also had a full rack of baby back ribs that were great. The cocktails were fab too!

Service was very quick.
Come in to this place particularly to have pancakes for breakfast. Food was delicious, fresh, nicely presented. Chef prepared eggs as per my request and liking.
Would come back here to have some more food but to try it out their meats. 🙂

Having been let down by the cancelled Christmas lights at the Botanical Gardens and with two young children in tow our fast unravelling evening was saved by great food food and even better staff.

They couldn’t have been more friendly or welcoming. Their advice was spot on and the service / atmosphere and food really saved an afternoon.

Highly recommended and the meal was excellent value for money.

the monster ribs were alright, but the pulled pork was truly incredible. both the spicy nachos and classic dog had a generous helping and they really shined. especially the dog.

the barbecue sauce they have on the side is also 10/10.

The coleslaw is great but the potato salad is meh.

The food was very good and the drinks menu is very exhaustive so you'll have no issue finding something you like! The chips were good but could've done with a bit of salt. Also I have to say the style and theme of this place is really unique, it has a very cool vibe. I enjoyed my burger but would probably try a sandwich if I return

Great service, food and atmosphere! The ribs, wings, skinny fries, corn on the cob, all really delicious! My son had the pancakes, and they looked amazing! Servers were quick and friendly, but most importantly, food was spot on! Great place to go for food and a pint!

Great food and service. They've also made Darts fun for everyone, the short interactive games keep the whole party entertained. If you are in Cambridge this is a must do!

Amazing experience. Staff are super friendly and professional, especially to Callum and Munashe who served us. Don’t hesitate to pass by if you’re ever down in Cambridge!

Cool atmosphere and decor with some great service. Food was brilliant too, quite pricey but probably on par with other good restaurants these days.

Great place for drinks. I didn't eat but from what I saw the food looked delicious. The darts was a great laugh too. Will definitely return

Lovely atmosphere with great music. Handy 'light' system which let's you get the attention of the staff. Quick and attentive service with delicious cocktails and amazing food. Ribs were juicy and packed a punch. Good value for money - definitely worth a visit!

All the staff are fantastic! Quick and engaging. Brilliant atmosphere and they will never let you run out of drinks for too long. Food is lovely, no complaints from us. Would like an option to tip when paying by card. Will definitely visit again when we’re in Cambridge! Thanks so much l.

I had my birthday celebration here and we had so much fun! Staff were so friendly and warm, the vibes were great, really recommend the darts and happy hour drinks.

The staff were so helpful. I am someone with dietary problems and they knew their menu inside and out. The food was just amazing. The real ale I'm told was great but wow the cocktails were lush. Our after dinner darts was so much fun we even had some coaching from one of the staff. An excellent place

Smokeworks definitely lives up to its name. The smoked beef ribs we had were great -with a visible bright pink smoke ring and all. My only gripe would be how much of it we got. We ordered the “Beef It Up” for two expecting a full rack of beef ribs to share, but instead the rack was only 3 bones long. On a separate note, the waiter/waitress signalling with the light panel was unusual and effective!

Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend and the staff are so helpful.

Great place for a snack/lunch/dinner and darts. Nice setup to enjoy darts with good company, extensive selection of beers and nice food. I would add an extra start if I could to the staff who was extremely helpful when 2 people dropped after the cancellation period.
