These guys are excellent. I've had two jobs done by them now - gear adjustment on a MTB and service and repair on my road bike, and found the quality of the work spot on, fast turnaround, reasonably priced and so nice to deal with. Can't recommend them enough.

These guys are amazing! They have helped me twice now: the first was a puncture repair for £15 and the second was a problem with some 1980s gears and the chain. I had expected to pay upwards of £60 to replace it, but they managed to repair the existing one for only £15! Everything is working perfectly again. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Great service. I had a great cable snap on the way home one night, took the bike in the next day, and fixed within hours. Highly recommend.

I shopped around at many cycle stores in Cambridge looking for a replacement bike.
I have to say these guys were so helpful and friendly, and took the time to show me the various options available to me. I decided in the end to purchase a brand new bike only because they offered me a very good price indeed on my trade in. They even transferred all of my accessories from one bike to another and offered a free service in a few months time.
All in all a very pleasant and successful experience. I will definitely use Lensfield Road Cycles again , and recommend them to anyone seeking a new or used bike.

Great service and friendly staff. I came in for a full bike service but decided against it due to the pick-up time. They still repaired my front wheel and didn't even charge me for it - will definitely be coming back!

Very helpful staff for purchasing a used bike. He spent a good bit of time with me, showing me everything they had in the category I wanted, and asking questions about my commute to ascertain whether something else might suit when they didn't have exactly what I was looking for. Inventory is fairly good, I'd definitely check here when looking for a used bike!

Amazing service really friendly and helpful. I went to buy a bike did not know what I wanted, one of the guys approached me and I told him what kind of a ride I wil be doing and the distance. He selected the perfect bike for me without looking any further. I got to test ride as long as I wanted. I told him I need the full gear to go with it i.e. helmet, lock, lights etc. He told me to leave a deposit and come back when the owner was in. I went back two days after and met the owner Dave he sorted me out a very good deal and threw in the lights for free and gave me a good discount. However I did have a problem within the first week of having the bike, I took it back and they fixed it for free and gave me a new seat pole for free. Since then the bike has been trouble free. I bought the bike in May 2017. TA, Cambridge.

Excellent service, honest guys. I took my bike in to get a new inner tube in the back wheel, and they did so and left it chained up for me as I couldn't collect the bike during opening hours. No fuss, average price, I'd recommend them!

Newsflash: just bought new Raleigh Wayfarer there. Great bike, fair price. Strongly recommend... A great bunch of guys. Really friendly, very reasonable, and they know what they are doing. Good new bikes, good old bikes, and they keep your existing bike on the road as long as possible - they will also let you know when it really ought to be put out of its misery. The bike doctors!

Bought second hand Road bike today - great friendly service.

Extremely friendly, quick, and saved me twice when I needed it most! They managed to find a replacement 80’s Sturmey Archer rear wheel after mine had been caved in, for pickup next day - and fixed a puncture in 10mins when Another Bike Shop told me to do it myself even though I was desperate. Thanks so much!

Came in the morning, they fixed my bike within 4 hours by replacing a cog for £27.50. Thank you!

Great guys, have bought small parts and accessories from them before and they had good advice. Reason for the review is that my really old crappy bike I bought on gumtree broke during my commute and they lent me tools to repair it for free -- obviously don't expect this to be a norm but it was a much appreciated surprise.

I have been to a lot of bicycle shops in Cambridge over the years with my 4 children but will only now go to Lensfield Road!
The service is brilliant, extremely efficient and with very reasonable prices but best of all are the friendly owners and staff.
Don't go anywhere else!

got a puncture on the cycle to work, got the wheel to the shop at lunch, picked it up at 4, paid £12 and cycled home. couldn't have asked for a simpler transaction.

They offered me good bikes to buy and need twice a reparation of the rear wheel --simple punch-- and made it without charge. Good service!

Helpful and professional staff. Very knowledgeable, fast and available. In my experience it's simply the most reliable place to get a bike repair in town. Really nice!

If anything is wrong with my bike - that's where I go. Very friendly and helpful staff. They will fix whatever needs to be fixed, and do it with very reasonable price.

Really helpful staff, letting me know what was wrong with my bike, and suggesting the best time to bring it in (a couple of days later). On the day itself they had it fettled within a few hours and now it's much easier to ride
