The staff was very friendly and nice
The bike came with lights, wheel lock, U lock and paid 1£ extra for the helmet
The seat was very comfortable and the bike was great! Not cheap however the bikes are awesome and I've included 1 day insurance. They require photo ID

While visiting Cambridge I forgot to secure some bungee cords properly on my pannier rack, and managed to get one entangled in my rear cassette in such a way that cycling safely was impossible.

Rutland Cycling were one of the few bike shops open on a Sunday afternoon during the pandemic, and I was worried that they wouldn't have time to help. That wasn't the case at all - Javier and Henry(?) were super friendly and were able to sort it out for me within a few minutes of showing up. Without them I would've been well and truly screwed - thanks guys!

Just popped in for a small repair. Unfortunately my bike is on its last legs and may have to be put to sleep,however the big guy did his level best,did a small repair and never charged me. I thanked him for his honesty and integrity and when my current bike does shuffle off I will definitely buy a new one from them. A little courtesy goes a long way. Cheers.

I had my bike repaired here in Dec 2020. Some parts were hard to get hold of because of the pandemic, but the staff worked hard to find a solution and were able to do the repair quickly — for a very reasonable price. Communication was also excellent.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to this time because of the outstanding service I received. I'll certainly be coming back. Many thanks.

I have a range of bikes and do most of the maintenance, upgrades and servicing for these myself. So generally when I need help it's not something trivial. Having tried 6 or 7 bike shops in Cambridge, this is my go to place for repairs. Their knowledge, diagnosis and repair ability is unrivalled. Prices are fair and small repairs can be free. There ain't a problem that they can't fix!

I came on a Saturday to have my bike repaired and had the pleasure to be received by Chris. He was very professional and immediately present, courteous and efficient. He even went beyond that and did not charge me for one of the issues, which I found really nice of him! I highly recommend this store for their competitive prices and the professionalism of their employees!
No doubt I'll come back if I have any issue!

On the recent purchase of my new bike the customer service and attention to detail has been exceptional. Incredibly fast delivery, a quality build, constant updates and really helpful tips and suggestions. I am really happy I went here rather than a well-known competitor. I highly recommend. Regularly have my bicycles serviced here. Staff are helpful, passionate and knowledgeable. I can be confident that I’m getting the right work done and at a good price. On two occasions, they’ve even discounted it — once to free because it was a quick repair; and another time by roughly half as a (completely unnecessary) good will gesture following a minor miscommunication. Overall, can’t fault them at all.

Fantastic service! I am not an avid cyclist by any means, but the guys in this shop never make me feel anything but welcome. Every time I go in for whatever silly reason, they chat with me about the bike, answer my questions, and give me a little bit more confidence than I had before. I've never once felt pressured to buy something, they don't push you to purchase at all, but they will give you recommendations based on your anticipated use. And now they sell cute cycling shoes, too?! 100% recommend this shop to cyclists of all styles.

Completely forgot to review at the time but I had great service from Simon at this store back in February. He showed me how to set up and use my new lights and even fixed a few minor issues with my bike free of charge! Would recommend to anyone.

I came in without booking because my pannier rack had broken. They fixed it straight away, tightened a few other screws and didn't even charge: top notch service. I've also been using their branch in the Grand Arcade for years and receiving similarly brilliant service. Thank you!

I dropped by to change an annoying worn bolt that was making my saddle go down on my way home. They replaced it promptly and helped me adjust my saddle properly and for free. I'm very thankful, and would strongly recommend!

Had a bad experience in this store a while back, but yesterday they did incredibly well and so I have adjusted my review. Another bike store recommended I have my rear wheel replaced which sounded ridiculous to me (bike 1y old). Took it to the store and mechanic was kind enough to look at it despite being incredibly busy. He fixed the rear wheel in 30 minutes and even showed me what the problem was for a 10’er. Phenomenal. Other staff were courteous. Well done and keep it up!

I needed a new bottom bracket. Another bike shop had tried and failed - 'its seized'. On the off-chance I dropped into Rutland at Cambridge station, it was Friday afternoon, and they looked busy. Sensing my urgency, they managed to fit me in and have it fixed within the hour! In all I spoke to three staff members (manager, newbie and a mechanic) - all very helpful/friendly - even the mechanic. Good job Rutland.

Great service on the phone and in person. Held the part needed for my bike and fitted me in as soon as possible so that I could get back in time for school pick up. Excellent service from all staff I spoke to and reasonably priced. Thanks to Colin for fixing it.

Great service and very friendly! I had a loose cassette. Even though they were fully booked for repairs Colin very kindly fixed the issue so I could go cycling that morning. They also provided a replacement for a screw that I lost, and had a helmet that fit my brother's enormous head.

This shop was a delight to go to. My bike was the well serviced and fixed to perfection after they discovered a slight problem with my back tire and to the gear mechanism. Aaron and Simon were very helpful with explaining what my options were. They handed to Phil who said it could be fixed in a couple of days. After Receiving my bike from a man called Khris I find my bike works better than ever. Thank you Rutland cycling.

I was served by Simon, who was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I got advice about getting my young son to start cycling and he also sorted out getting my bike repaired. The repair was done really quickly and the store was great at letting me know the bike was ready. Would highly recommend Simon and the team.

Absolutely fantastic service from the team at Rutland Cycles at Cambridge Station. They completed my service quickly with a brilliant and friendly attitude. This is consistent with my previous dealings with their Giant Hills Road store and the store at the Grand Arcade. I would 10/10 recommend using them for any of your cycling needs - service or purchase.

But remember, they are staying open during the covid-19 pandemic under extra stress to help people who need it. Please be friendly, patient and observe their social distancing procedures. They are doing their best!

The staff at RC Barnwell Road have been excellent. Helpful, informative and are top notch in their aftercare of the bike I bought from them. Despite being short staffed, they remained calm, polite, respectful and attentive. Thank you Rutland Cycling, Barnwell Road, Cambridge. Happy to recommend you.
