Rutland Cycling Histon

Really impressed with the service. Called them when it was next to impossible to find a bike shop with the parts I thought I'd need, and Kevin's approach over the phone made them the clear choice, even had they not had the parts needed, though fortunately they did. The workshop then carried out superb work on the bike, which now feels better than it did when it was brand new. All this topped off with great advice when I popped in to collect my bike.

I was extremely impressed with the service I received when I picked up my new Cube gravel bike from the Histon Rutland Cycling store. in addition to the bike, I needed to purchase a number of other items, for which I received excellent advice on. Handover of the bike was also really comprehensive. When I got home the mudguards I purchased were really tricky to fix - another trip back to the Histon store a day later and I again received excellent service from man in the workshop (sorry not sure of name), who could not do enough to help and managed to get the mudguards to fit. Great service all round.

Rang up to enquire about a repair (derailleur got ripped off through contact with the spokes ,at speed)
Was asked to bring bike in, knowing stock levels across the world are low - was expecting it to take a while.
They managed to find an appropriate part as well the other bits needed. I rode the bike out 30 minuts later.
Fantastic work, very friendly with humor and professionalism ( Ben and Kevin). Very happy with the service I got. Wouldn't hesitate to use their service again.

Popped in today with a gear shifter issue, fully expecting to have to leave my bike and pick it up in a couple weeks, due to the current service backlog. Instead, they managed to squeeze my ten minute job in while I was waiting, and very nicely explained both the issue and the fix in understandable terms. Quite literally the type of high quality customer service that makes your day.

Great customer service. I didn’t get on too well with the road bike I purchased recently. They attempted to adjust it for me but in the end I asked if they could exchange it for a different model and they were more than happy to do this for me. I spent another couple of hours with Dan trying out different models. They even made me a cup of tea while I waited for the workshop to check it over for me. Would definitely recommend this cycle store.

Brilliant customer service. I bought a bike back in Sept 2020 and tested out quite a few to get the right one. Fast forward to April 2021 and my new bike is making a funny clicking noise. I took it back into the shop and they checked it, sorted it all out, free of charge, done the same day. Brilliant!

I had a fantastic experience at Rutland Cycles in Histon... firstly they ordered in a couple of bikes that I wanted to try, and then were happy when I bought a completely different one. I had a couple of teething problems with the bike, but Kyle and the rest of his team sorted it out for me really easily without any quibbles. Super service! It's such a good shop, my wife and best friend have also now bought bikes from them!

I went in over the weekend to look for some new pedals and shoes. The service I received was second to none. The Manager (I forgot his name sorry) listened to my requirements and suggested something that was perfect for what I needed & also at a decent price point. As I was looking to get the pedals etc to support my knee following a serious knee injury, the manager offer for me to bring my bike back the next day & help me set up correctly so that all of the alignment was correct.

The following day the gentlemen was again accommodating & helped to get my bike set up just right.

Overall superb service, great products at a sensible price & a shop with a excellent variety of products.

Just visited Rutland cycles in Histon with my Giant road bike as it had a squeak and a few issues. Ben kindly took a look and sorted the issues quickly and efficiently. Amazing service and great customer chat with both Ben and Kevin (I believe I heard him say on the phone) , would highly recommend.

I bought my first road bike this month and Neeta was very friendly and helpful. She spent a lot of time with me and went above and beyond, showing me several different models and then getting my bike set up with the necessary lights, repair kit, etc. I'm very happy with my purchase and the excellent customer service at Rutland Histon -- thanks also to Niall! Had a great and simple experience purchasing my new commuter bike at Rutland Cycling in Histon. After some research I found the bike for me, and the had it in stock. A quick visit to the shop and I found the one in stock was the perfect size. After my first ride I noticed the gears weren't quite setup right, but I took it to the store at Cambridge station who were really helpful and adjusted them while I waited without any bother. I'm really happy with my purchase and will be back for some accessories when the winter arrives.

Brilliant service at this great local bike shop. All of the staff are courteous and friendly, they have built me my new bike and got it done super quickly! I have popped in here many a time with queries and questions and they have always made time for me. The shop has a huge range of bikes, and gadgets, I would highly recommend!

Walked into the store to 'look' at getting a bike. Saw a couple I liked but nothing was catching my eye. I then found one I liked but the stock from the supplier wasn't available in my size until march. So the manager suggested a couple other bikes but they weren't exactly saying buy me until I saw another similar bike to the original choice I had. It was perfect. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but it was a great deal. The staff in the store are amazing and do everything they can for their customers. They are honest and give great feedback.

Great store with friendly, helpful staff. I've bought 3 bikes from Rutland over the past 4 years and was happy every time with service etc. Only just bought my 3rd bike over the weekend and was helped by Kyle with basic bike fit and excellent advice over the past week. Their service centre is also excellent. I've had standard services done there plus adhoc repairs and they have done superb work every time and are inexpensive too. I'd highly recommend this bike store.

Went to pick up my new bike and there was a mixup and the wrong bike had been built. The whole team couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful - the correct bike was built and delivered to my house in less than 1.5h. I even got a bike basket for free. Really really happy with how well they turned the situation around and got everything sorted for me. Mistakes can happen and how they dealt with it was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this shop more!

Great service and delivery. Always been able to supply bikes to my last minute requirements. Helpful and friendly staff. Always have advice and knowledge to give. They have been able to accommodate all of my purchases, services and questions also technical assistance. Matt is always my first call.

I received great advice when purchasing a new set of cycling shoes and pedals recently from the Histon store. Whilst they did not have the specific colour i wanted in stock, Matt rapidly sourced my chosen pair and had them ready to collect the next day. Thanks Matt. I am impressed by the selection of bikes and accessories they carry in stock and will be using them again the the future.

While cycling home from work one of my cleats came loose so I decided to swing by the Rutland Cycling workshop to see if they could fix it. They were very helpful and happy to replace a bolt that had somehow fallen out without charge. I'll definitely be going back next time I need repairs.

My sons bike was vandalised today. Although busy, Ben made time to check the bike over and remedy the problem. First class service. Ben went the extra mile in helping and is an excellent bike mechanic. So good to experience such good customer service and it really helped save the day. Highly recommend!

A month ago I purchased a Giant TCR and I love it! The staff were happy to help me and made sure that I took my time when deciding to pick my ideal bike out of their vast selection. The store manager Niall Hunt was exceptionally professional, extremely knowledgable about the bikes in the store and most importantly he cared about making sure my customer experience was top notch!
