Cambridge City Post Office

I would like to share the outstanding experience I had in this post office branch. I met a very warm and friendly lady called Sheila, who helped me through the process of sending my parcel using the most appropriate service in order for my parcel to be delivered in a timely manner and guarantee compensation if lost. I really appreciate your support, Sheila. This post office staff are lovely and warm and ready to help at any time.

I had an excellent experience visiting Cambridge City Post office. The customer service was exceptional. The agent took extra care to ensure I had my parcels sent and gave all the necessary information. She did this all through with a smile on her face. Kudos!!!!

Absolutely lovely service by Sarah. Had to send some important documents off and she well advised me. Also, did not take too much of my time and handled the matter quickly! Always lovely to come here, always feel well taken care of. Thank you!

Highly recommended - as a millennial from another country I’ve never learnt how to do letters and parcels in the UK so I have to rely on the support of the staff to get my stuff sorted. Paul in particular has helped me a few times already; he’s very knowledgeable, efficient, kind and patient, which I hugely appreciate. Today he went out of his way to help me and I wanted to leave a reply to say thanks.

I have been using this post office for a long time and have always had a positive experience. The staff are normally friendly and go above and beyond to help me with any questions or requests I have. I appreciate the efficient service and the convenience of having multiple services available in one location. I highly recommend the post office for any of your mailing needs.

I came in to this branch this morning to send my passport off for renewal, I was served by a lovely lady who advised that I use the self service instead of waiting to be served at a counter for the interest of time. She helped me through the process, explaining all of the options available to myself, making the experience easy and stress free. Thank you to Sara, I will definitely come back to this post office when I’m in the town centre again :-)

Probably the best post office I go to. Staff are lovely, always helpful. Can get busy, but this post office actually has a decent amount of staff, so you're never waiting too long. More post offices should be like this!

I had a large number of parcels to post late on a Friday afternoon; Sarah couldn't have been more patient or helpful or good-humoured. I really appreciated it. We got through it all with ten minutes to spare!

I've had several interactions with this this Post Office during the absurdly busy Christmas season, and every one has been wonderful. Today, Amy helped me. Her adorable penguin jumper put an immediate smile on my face, as did her cheery welcome and helpful demeanour. (This Post Office's staff seem to take great pride in their happy holiday jumpers!) Nothing was too much trouble for Amy; she carefully helped pack, weigh, price, enter into the computer, and go through some rather tedious requirements without ever breaking her joyful attitude. She helped with other, more routine matters, as well, and seemed genuinely happy to be as near a Christmas elf as we have here!
This is consistent with my other visits to this Post Office. From the minute I've entered to when I've left, there have been kind people to help me figure out what I need to ensure the best postal service at the very best price, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. When someone is working with you, they give you their full attention -- no helping five people at once, shortchanging all. They are consistently focused, methodical, and thoughtful, diligent, very knowledgeable, and helpful, and I am grateful for all this post office's staff, especially during such a busy time of year!

I've used this post office exclusively during my time in Cambridge and have never had a bad experience. Sure, there may be a line of people ahead of me, but that's not the fault of the staff. The person who monitors entry will try to help when they are able to do so, often times they will show one how to use the self-service desk or assist in other ways that prevents one from having to go to a live person. When I've had to go to a live person, each has been helpful and pleasant, even when I've done something idiotic.

My first time going to this office in Cambridge. One of the staff member, Paul kindly assisted me with everything I needed. Such a great customer service. Thank you. Will come again soon.

Recieved stellar service from a gentleman named Matt both friendly and speedy. Got my licence renewed in 5 minutes flat. Great experience.
