The Lensfield Hotel

I stayed here for one night, it's good in location as it's in between to the city centre and the train station.

I had the room on a ground floor at the back, it's clean, comfortable and quiet at night.

Friendly service and helpful.

I arrived at 4 p.m. but lucky enough to get the last space of the car park just right in front of the hotel. There are limited to 5 spaces of car park.

Overall it's a lovely hotel as I can walk to the nearby restaurants and to the city centre, to Parker's Piece, Grafton centre and etc. Will come back again.

So very clean and convenient. Sheila and her sister were very, very helpful. I’ll surely visit again.

Room was nice. Mattress bit soft. Also would have preferred a frosted window on the bathroom as I don't think the net curtain gives enough privacy when it's night and the light is on. You can see some front doors from the window so it's not ideal, but it's not a direct view.
Breakfast lovely. It's only continental, not cooked, but it's an excellent variety.
Staff generally lovely. Had problems with room key. 1 girl I told came to watch me use the key card and of course it then worked straight away. Then was problematic again. Second guy I told refused to believe me and basically suggested I don't know how to use a room key.....its not rocket science....3rd lady I told was a super star and just gave me a new key card and said, they sometimes wear out! So thankfully that was resolved for the last night....
Hotel location is good. Its not inside the city center but its easy to walk into town and its on main roads so i felt safe walking back in the night. Its not in a tiny alley.
There are only 4 (maybe 5) parking spaces so that is tight but I got there early enough to get one. But it's very tight spaces.

Only thing I do wish was that the toiletries in the room were eco friendly options. Small plastic bottles and plastic covered soaps need to be a thing of the past.

Great hotel quite close to town and the train station, just in between the two. Not too pricey. Frendly staff. I'm happy with the size of the room and comfortable beds and a big bathroom.

Have just spent a weekend at the Lensfield hotel. A group of 6 friends. Great location. Ideal for walking into the city. Fantastic staff. The continental breakfast was superb - so much choice. Hadn't got any soya milk at first - but it arrived within 5 minutes of asking. Everything immaculately clean. All in all a fantastic find. Amazing value for the price in a city full of very expensive hotels. Thanks to all at the hotel for making our trip to Cambridge so special.

Really welcoming, bright, clean foyer and rooms.
One tiny problem, my room was a bit too warm and I couldn't alter the setting with the remote...
But great, friendly staff and a really delicious choice of continental breakfast items.

Spa = wonderful!
We visited the Spa facilities earlier this week and we were blown away - it was incredible. We had a mother-daughter experience and it was worth every penny. It's women's only with limited capacity and so it felt very private and personal. Thank you to the wonderful team for the treatments!

Love the experience at this hotel. The decor is not exactly up to the minute and the rooms are a little snug. But considering the price and the fabulous location this isn't a problem. The staff are wonderful, kind and helpful and the spa downstairs is absolutely exquisite. Really good massage with great products. A truly great weekend experience.

Very cosy! The staff were absolutely wonderful! There was a sanitizing station as you entered the lobby with free masks and antibacterial to take with you. The staff were so friendly and pleasant. The room was very clean and cosy. We would definitely return!

Very cozy and comfy room. Well equipped with useful appliances. Very friendly staff, polite and helpful. Breakfast is complimentary. Service is excellent.

Lovely overnight stay. Comfortable and clean single room. Large cooked help yourself buffet breakfast. Only downside was I could hear people in the room above using the toilet and inconsiderate people slamming the doors.

Quiet, clean, warm and in a god spot not too far away from the city center

We had a lovely stay at the Lensfield. Located very close to the train station and the city centre. The room had Aircon, power shower, heated mirror, as well as the usual stuff. Breakfast was nice and tea/coffee was freshly made pot/cafeteria. We wanted something a little more special than a Premier Inn, and were pleased with what we got.

The rooms were clean and modern. Staff were very friendly. Well located.

Lovely hotel, well located near to the centre of Cambridge. Friendly staff, great breakfast, beautifully decorated rooms and even parking! Recommended!

Lovely family run hotel close to the city centre. Great location and a number of good restaurants in the area. Breakfast was good and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

We booked a deluxe studio. We got a bedroom, living room, full equiped kitchen, private bathroom, balcony. Very clean and comfortable. We really felt like home.

What can I say about this hotel 🙂 the staff here are so polite and professional thay are willing to help you at any time.the breakfast was absolutely great cannot fault it and the staff here to make you feel so welcome . the room was absolutely clean 🙂 so lensfield you done your selves proud 10 out of 10 🙂.

Went in to see a friend Inna Brown who works in the Beauty Spar, l didn't have an appointment, I said I needed an eyebrow tint
Inna said she could do my eyebrows now as she had space. l had an eyebrow tidy and tint, room was spotless hygienic and very tidy. Overall experience was very relaxing and leased with the results. Hence 5* given
