Centennial Hotel

Lovely atmosphere. Staff delightful. All very clean and tidy. Great location and parking. Chips were the best! Felt very safe as a single female traveller. Will definitely go back

Hotel was extremely clean and staff were very helpful and attentive, we had room 215 which was very small and dated could only fit single person. Evening meal was delicious and large portions, cooked breakfast was very good especially the quality of the bacon but limited continental. Location is quite along walk from centre. The hotel also has limited parking but we didn't have a problem parking for the three days we were there. All in all, lovely hotel but room was not worth the price.

Great location with added bonus of free parking. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included and was good value for money. Walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Would recommend and would certainly come back to this hotel.

A lovely hotel, very clean and decorated in great taste. The staff are extremely friendly, kind and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights , the breakfast is included in the price, very efficient service. We ate twice in the hotel in the evening on both occasions the food was excellent. My steak cooked to perfection, and the chef personally spoke with me re the food, very personal service. Eat in. it's great. Recommended this hotel for your stay. Reception staff very very helpful

This is a lovely little hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was under the roof to the street. I must be honest that you could hear the cars from the street through the window. But we slept so good that it didn't brother us. The room was super clean and the breakfast delicious. Would definitely come here again. I'm still enchanted by the charm of the small hotel.

We stayed here for one night and everything went smoothly. The hotel was clean and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Great location near the train station. The room can get quite hot during the day since there was no AC.

This is a sweet boutique hotel with staff that welcome you warmly, and seem to treat one another like they are family. My room had period furniture that I loved, and with a very clean, modern bathroom with power shower. My steak dinner was done just how I wanted it.

Great little hotel, with friendly staff especially Taylor who served us at the bar and for dinner, & breakfast in the morning. Different menu every night for dinner and I highly recommend it! Very clean rooms, no aircon but there is a towel warmer in the bathroom. Looks in good condition for an old hotel except no lifts. If we’re ever back in Cambridge we’ll stay here again!

My parents stayed at the hotel for some days at the end of October. They don't speak English, however, they were very happy with the hotel staff which were very kind to them, and the language barrier was not an issue. They stayed in an attic room which can be a bit tricky to get to since the stairs are quite steep, but the hotel staff helped us to get the suitcases up. The room was a bit small and the ceiling sloped (watch out if you are tall!), but everything fully functional and the bathroom was certainly roomy enough. I wouldn't recommend the attic room to an elderly couple because of what I've mentioned, but I made the booking quite late and that was the only room available in Cambridge during that weekend for a reasonable price, so that's entirely on me. Nevertheless, my parents were completely satisfied with the hotel and would definitely recommend it. They stressed that they really liked the breakfast and the friendliness and kindness of the staff! Also, its location is great.

We stayed here just before going home back to Australia after our long holiday in the UK.

Hotel was very nice, really homely and clean with all the facilities you could need. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Such an ideal spot to be when visiting Cambridge. The breakfast was basic if I'm honest however that won't stop me coming again. We plan on returning next year to stay, and there are plenty of places to get breakfast nearby if you wish to. We had a lovely stay, thank you for being great hosts.

Lovely clean warm hotel with polite, helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty and filling. We used the conference room which was well equipped and were were offered as much tea and coffee as we needed.

Simon and his team treated us with 5* service from start to finish! From the booking process through to checking out. They were very accommodating with my request to check in early for my wedding makeup trial and made sure my room was ready for me. There was a lot of chopping around with the rooms, adding rooms on, cancelling rooms, but Simon remained polite, patient and professional. Check in was a breeze and the lovely gentleman behind the check in desk was very friendly. The room was bright and clean and there was a much needed fan in there too! Reasonably priced. Thanks Simon and the team!

Quiet deluxe twin room at back and comfortable beds. Very helpful staff. Brought us an ice bucket to the room on both evenings. Parcelled up a whole wash-bag I had forgotten and sent it back to me. Great housekeeping nd room spotless. Nice bathroom with good shower. Breakfast first class, lots of choice and plentiful. Car parking spaces rather tight and rooms bijou but overall we loved it. Bus stops close by and takes you directly into town if you don’t want to walk (only about 20 minutes though). Will return
