The Orlando Hotel

Me and my husband stayed here for one of our first dates a couple of years back. It’s a great location, rooms were clean and tidy. The only downside was the frosted glass toilets, but they wasn’t too bad if you’re comfortable around the person you’re staying with!

We stayed in room six and it was wonderful!
We were coming back from Finland and booked a room here as there was no trains to get back to York, we were worried about arriving late but the host was very kind about it and made sure that our stay would be nice and easy.
We had a good nights rest from lots of traveling, I can’t complain :)

I booked a room here very last minute. The owner provided detailed instructions to access the property by key code and I had no issues. The room was lovely and came with soap/shampoo and tea/coffee/water. The location is perfect, especially if you are arriving by train, as it is maybe 3 minutes away from the station. It is also an easy walk to the city center or to a quieter street of shops and restaurants. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. I definitely recommend this hotel!

We had a three night city break and found it an ideal base, close to the station but far enough not to be bothered by any noise.
Mill Road with lots of independent restaurants is a short walk away.

We had a 3 day visit to meet our son after 6 months. Our
room was a very pleasant
surprise. Well decorated and very comfortable. Our only negative was the tea/coffee machine. I am
not the brightest northerner and struggled to work it out (perhaps a small travel
kettle and tea bags for the slower customers ) and a couple of glasses to but overall we would definitely recommend this lovely hotel thanks x

The place is very clean and cozy. The fact that all locks have number combination makes check in and out very easy, as you don't need to speak to someone. You just get a message with your door combination and you are ready to go! The owner of the place is always available via phone or email if you need anything, and she is always very helpful. No complaints at all! :)

Closer to an "extended stay suite" than a traditional "hotel." An older building with completely updated, well-thought out room arrangements, and nicely decorated modern rooms. Room 5 (upstairs) has a small desk looking out over the street, a loveseat, small refrigerator, a large comfortable bed, large shower, and heated towel bars. Impeccably clean. Items for coffee and tea and a light breakfast are included with the room. Just a few blocks from the Cambridge Railway Station and the Cambridge Botanic Garden. I'd definitely stay there again.

Lovely stylish hotel very close to Cambridge railway station. Very clean. Totally comfortable bed! The staff I met were friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money!

Claire was very helpful and friendly from the outset, replying to messages quickly and helping with parking advice (which was super easy and free!). The room was fantastic, clean, large and a great location. Will visit again for sure!

This is an ultra-convenient, well thought out and extremely well equipped place to lay your head of an evening. Perfect for travelling for work or even a base for a quick weekend away. This is not a 5 star fully featured hotel, but it's also clear that was never the point. If you want that the Tamburlaine is around the corner at more than twice the price.

Immaculately clean, PIN code to get in the building emailed to you once you've completed your reservation, really nice small breakfast tray with some fruit, an eat natural bar, a yogurt and a bottle of water. Nespresso style coffee machine in the room. As someone who travels for work I thought this place was absolutely perfect and a great price. I've stayed in Air BnBs, various hotels and serviced apartments all across Cambridge and I'm very rarely impressed but this place is a small but perfectly formed hidden gem.

This Hotel was absolutely amazing, especially because we traveled by train and its 3 min from the trainstation by foot. Also the city centre isnt too far by foot. The whole house seems to be newly renovated and everything was clean, the room bright and tidy. You do hear footsteps from the upper floor, and from our room (Nr.1) we also heared quite well when somebody opened the front doors but we did not expect it to be different, that's just the way it is in these typical british town houses and our room was right next to the entrance. We slept very good nevertheless ;)

Had a very enjoyable one night stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and well designed and the keyless entry system was very convenient and efficient for entry. Great communication from Claire too.

Lovely place. Room was clean and cosy and had complimentary treats. Slept so well and the keyless entry worked great. Would 100% recommend and definitely will come back if ever coming to cambridge again. Great value for money!
