My favourite hotel chain of recent! The room is amazing and all the amenities were top quality. The breakfast was awesome and finally some green vegetables! I was craving for it so much on this trip cause it seems so hard to find it in the restaurants.

Unbelievable stay at University Arms. I was made to feel so welcome from the moment I walked through the door! The room was beautiful and all the intricate details made my stay so special. The biggest struggle was getting out of that incredibly cosy and comfortable bed in the morning.

GREAT cocktails and beautiful setting. Jazz trio made for a good atmosphere. Haven't eaten or stayed here so can't comment on anything other than the bar which I recommend.

Fantastic location, short walk into City Centre.
Rooms had everything you would need and hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. Also got a free room upgrade and cocktails on arrival. The cocktails are excellent and the bar had a nice buzz about it. Would 100% stay here again

Very nice experience staying here. Wish I had stayed longer and not moved hotel the next night, because I thought I was going to upgrade in staying at the Gonville, but I was wrong! a shame the gym wasn’t in operation, but the staff in the restaurant were all very professional and there was a good atmosphere.

Just finish our 3 weeks course at Cambridge. Morning breakfast was always the same but the service was good. The male asian supervisor is very good. He respect his guests and evwn remember their names. Excellent employee! People love to come back because of this kind of service. The receptionist service was very professional. Daily greeting by them days and nights. The night drinking bar was good with excellent ambience. Overall excellent service.😁👍

Brilliant location, great decor,y cosy room was a bit on the small side, limited underground parking (£20/d), entrance is from the side on a narrow 1 way street on the right before the Thai restaurant- I missed it the first time and had to do a 5m loop. You need to call reception and they will come down to open the gate shutters whilst you wait.

Highly recommend a short stay here. I crédible customer service. An amazing Italian receptionist stood out the most & provided a great guide to stroll around the area. Also the spa is a must, I had the full body massage including head. Great to get out of London for a long weekend. Thank you for a great stay.

One of my favorite Marriott properties of all time. Perfect mix of historical ambiance with modern convenience. I was upgraded to the Darwin Suite, which was amazing. I would go back to Cambridge just to stay in this hotel! Only downside was the gym had flooded, but they accommodated by paying for my membership at a fitness center nearby.

I absolutely love this hotel. Great location, friendly staff, beautiful building and rooms. Loved it! Can’t wait to go back.

Lovely classic hotel perfectly located for visiting Cambridge.
Comfortable rooms, good food and a "quality ambience" make staying here a must do when visiting the city.

My husband and I stayed in the cozy room for two nights. We loved the ambiance and grandeur of the hotel. Our room was on the smaller side, but the bathroom was opulent. You couldn't get a better location, as it is in the middle of Cambridge city centre, with short walks to restaurants, pubs, and tourist locations. The staff was helpful and accommodating when we needed to push back our check out time to coordinate with our flight. We would definitely stay here again, but would likely upgrade to a larger room.

Beautiful hotel with gracious and attentive staff. I traveled with my eleven-year-old daughter and when we got to the room, there was a small stack of books waiting for us on the nightstand as suggested reading, including "The Wind in the Willows." Little details like that made it a comfortable and memorable stay.
Location is in the heart of town by a large central green and an easy walk to most sites. The breakfast buffet for guests had a wide variety, from full English breakfast items, to lighter pastries and yogurts.

We stayed here for a business trip. The room was spacious, had a mini fridge, coffee/tea makers, ironing board, and hairdryer. Every day you were given to bottle of water, and the wash room was exquisite. The staff were kind and supplied us with a converter when ours didn't work.

Amazing property, we were well looked after by all the reception, spa and restaurant team. Free bike hire is a must along the river and really is the best way to get around town. Breakfast while not the biggest range was of good quality. Only think to work on is some of your cocktails were a bit disappointing.

The hotel building is beautiful and fits in well with Cambridge, right in the center.

Rooms are beautiful with heated floors in the washroom.

All staff members were wonderful, kind and professional. Excellent stay. One of our best hotel experiences and we'd stay here again for sure.

Parker's tavern was delicious. Varied menu with wonderful food.

As a traveling American, I try to remember that each country will have nuances different than 'home'. This is an older, historical building. Parking is limited in Cambridge, ergo, a $40 parking fee. The rooms are a little smaller. I really wish there was a desk. However, there is a library downstairs you can work at. I was happily surprised that is was a very hot night spot for drinks. The bartenders, Andreas and Ricardo were wonderful and came up with lovely drinks based on our preferences. The jazz band Saturday night was icing on the cake. Our cleaning man for room 911 did a fabulous job. Overall, we would definitely stay here again just for the quirky artwork and service. (As a side note, the bed was very comfortable and the shower's water pressure helped us get over our jet lag!)
