Pod Orlem

I love this corner shop. For a small space they have a decent selection and the deli is fantastic if you like cured sausages. They also have cured meats and a small selection of deli cheeses. I don't speak or read Polish and so have to depend on the photos on labels but if I need help they are always willing to do so. I often come here for buttermilk, spreadable cheese (like Boursin but cheaper) and bread. The vegetables are fresh (the potatoes will have dirt on them) and limited to seasonal choices which I like. They also carry full sugar soft drinks and iced teas made in Poland which is welcome change from the articially sweetened sodas and teas that are made in the UK. All in all I highly recommend this shop even if you don't need your weekly kielbalsa.

I popped into this shop today for the first time and found it a treasure trove of culinary delights. Delicious cold meats, cheese, various sorts of fermented milk products and blocks of fresh yeast in 100g packs. The shelves groan with a wide variety of bottled, pickled vegetables & salads, also preserved fruit of various types, flour, cake mixes and much, much more. It's not a big shop but it is well stocked, sparkling clean and a very helpful woman behind the counter

Mostbof customers obviously are Polish guys, so the service would be typically in Polish...as well as attitude ☺

Amazing friendly place with delicious selection of cured ham and Polish sausages and cheese . Full of Polish delicacies.

Located in a fairly busy, well-connected area.
Parking can be sorted too, especially for short times.
The shopkeeper/seller is friendly, talkative and kind.

The best selection of Polish, and not only, food stuffs. The ladies that work there are always helpful, happy and you feel welcomed. Amazing selection of booze too 2😁😉 very much recommended, for freshness of the produce and wide choice of cold meats, cheese and other pleasures

Couple of Covid-related remarks for the vulnerable: staff not wearing face coverings (except for the mock shields that only cover lips, which obviously do not work), and the shop seems to have rather poor ventilation (limited space, doors kept close, no windows). If you are among the higher risk groups, a properly fitted respirator might provide some safety along with limited time inside, in case avoiding the shop altogether is not an option. Otherwise a great shop, wide range of great products, looking forward to visiting again in better circumstances.

Girls are nice and friendly always smiling and good looking too, especially Emilka, my all time favourite, always smiling and happy, thats my KEFIR girl always get me a six pack 😜

What a lovely friendly shop. The woman who helped us let us try the meats and was very welcoming. The shop is full to bursting with Polish food of all kind. Very reasonably priced.

This is by far my favourite shop in the whole of cambridge. The staff are amazing here. Always so friendly and helpful and funny. I love how if I'm unsure of what a meat or cheese tastes like they just give you a chunk of it haha. The meats and cheeses are not only delicious but very reasonably priced. The selection of cakes and biscuits are brilliant and again delicious. You get a 5 star rating from me guys. On my way now to get a selection of sausages for today's BBQ haha x

It's the best Polish shop in Cambridge in my experience. Small in size but full of delicious, fresh treasures you can't find anywhere else.

Visited for the first time today. The shop is well stocked. Clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely go back again.

Nice place with lots of Polish products you can choose from.As soon as I entered the shop I was kindly welcomed by the staff.Knowlege about products they have in stock was amazing.Prices of the products are worth every penny.I definitely recommend to visit.
