Homerton College, University of Cambridge

I have been coming to this place every summer for the last 10 years. What I gave learnt to appreciate is the way how you are encouraged to enjoy the place. The college is going through some changes now and I can only hope that the true spirit of Homerton will remain intact.

Beautiful architecture; a wonderful blend of modern and traditional. The facilities are new and functional, and yet the buildings retain a sense of old fashioned charm to them. The great hall is one of the best in Cambridge (and home to the infamous Harry Potter formuls). A fantastic laid back friendly attitude. The best place possible to spend my three years here!

Went for a conference yesterday , the staff were very friendly and the catering service was top notch. Food were five star quality and the Conference Rooms were well maintained.

Modern and serene. Location close to the biomedical campus and Addenbrooke's Hospital makes it ideal for medics and biomedical scientists.

Wonderful college, and great gym, had a pleasure being there as part time staff and using the gym/catering facilities, with beautiful old fashioned architecture and very friendly, professional staff.

Homerton is one of the less formal colleges in Cambridge. People are encouraged to enjoy the lawns and the grounds, which include a lovely apple orchard, which is tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Along that edge of the college grounds is also a lovely wooded lane which is gorgeous in the autumn when the leaves change colour.

If visiting the college be sure to enjoy lunch at the Buttery or Great Hall, the prices are very reasonable and the Great Hall in particular is a lovely venue to dine in.

Speaking only as a guest in one of their dorms, I loved it here. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, great smelling. Quality bathroom. But . . . maybe a little far from all the action.

Terms flew by, professors were top notch. Don't wanna leave

It's no coincidence you can find 'Home' in 'Homerton'. A beautiful, welcoming, magical place.

A very interesting yet under visited College.

Little distance provides me good exercise. Close to Cambridge leisure centre.
