Interesting, quite reasonably priced vinyl selection housed in an historic building from 1636. Very well laid out with a v good classical vinyl selection, too. Also sells CD's & books.

Geoff is a lovely bloke. Came in there for a browse and left with 2 great Dub records. Super knowledgeable guy too.

A great long established traditional rack fulls of excellent correctly priced stock and the man behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. If you like music and you are in rye miss it at your peril!

Found a great selection of cast albums in this treasure trove. A huge amount of stock for a relatively small shop. Could have spent hours in there thumbing through everything but had to restrain myself.
Can't wait for my next visit!

Very knowledgable owner. Cheap CD/DVD/Blu rays, wall to wall full of vinyl of all sorts (modern, classical and even movie soundtracks) as well as film posters and Japanese film posters

Brilliant record shop, have been going in for some years now, but went in today and realised this must be one of my favourite crate digging shops (I live in London so am spoilt for choice). All the vinyl I looked at was in mint playing condition, well priced, fantastic variety and very pleasant, knowledgable helpful staff. I highly recommend.

Just had the most wonderful chat and listen to Blues with Jeff. Got some absolute gems we wouldn't have found without his love of music. Look forward to our next visit

Smashing shop and a highlight of any visit to Rye. Friendly and helpful staff who know what they are talking about.
Shop has a good selection of classical LPs and cds which is something which is increasingly rare these days. (I actually found a cd by an obscure favourite composer of mine which I didn't know existed.) But the shop is more focussed on pop and film music and also carries an interesting stock of used dvds. It must rate highly for nostalgia for older clientele such as myself.
All the prices seem fair and reasonable to me.

One of the best around, well worth travelling to Rye just to visit the record shop. Nice pub minutes away, does it get any better. Perfect location too.
