Abaca Health Store

Beautiful shop that has a lovely feel to it as soon as you spot it from the street. It's always immaculate, welcoming with so many things to catch your eye and has a brilliant stock of supplements, bodycare products, household gifts and food pantry essentials. The owner and staff there love what they do and are so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Having both been a customer and a member of staff there in the past, I honestly cannot fault this shop which is a real community asset. I loved my visit to Abaca yesterday. Thank you for such a lovely shopping experience.

Don't know their own product. No apology or eagerness to learn. Staff was looking to refuse refund without a receipt, then disappointed rather than relieved when I found it!
Update: I actually emailed the supplier who did confirm that the tea was pure peppermint, so I was wrong and apologise on that score. However, I drink a lot of peppermint tea and this just tasted horrible, nothing like any other, and I am still disappointed that the store wasn’t at all concerned that there had been a problem. If only they were as friendly then as they are in their response to this review! Perhaps it was a bad day…

The blonde lady seems rather unenthusiastic and not very welcoming, it wouldn't hurt to put a bit more effort in considering its your business? A smile or hello costs nothing.
