Three guests and two trainee guide dogs were warmly welcomed to Dan y Coed. We enjoyed local walks and the nearby pub.

Fantastic place with fantastic hosts. Richard and Jane were so welcoming, nice and helpful. Both my husband and I came on motorbikes and were able to park at the venue without any issues. Richard recommended places to visit and restaurants and all were absolutely wonderful. The room was huge, charming, comfy, warm and very clean. We slept so well we didn't want to leave. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to order and excellent produces. This is a place we both highly recommend and we will coming back to ourselves and with friends and family.

We had three nights here in Mid-September and it was wonderful. Jane and Richard are wonderful hosts - breakfasts are terrific and the rooms are large and comfortable, in an lovely farm setting. Richard offers excellent advice on touring in central Wales

Amazing place - I stayed 4 nights for a motorcycle trip with a friend. The breakfasts were incredible (quality and quantity!), the cottage itself was spotless and spacious. The setting was one of the most beautiful I've stayed in. Even the path down to the cottage from the road felt special! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, Jane and husband!

I'll be back with the family! Andrew (and Adam)

They looked after us wonderfully, and probably the best breakfast I've ever had.

Place setting was magical. Room was well furnished and very spacious and comfortable. Bath and toilets where all clean and functional. Views from the window of our room in the morning was unexpectedly beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Try the local sourced tomatoes in the full Welsh breakfast. Loved the hosts enthusiasm to help with anything you may require. Thanks for a wonderful stay an memories, Richard and Jane.

If you get the chance go here. Fantastic location beautiful clean rooms, you felt covid wise, with strict observation of rules. The breakfast was lovely, good job I had the small and not the large or I'd still be there now. Owner so friendly and helpful. Overall, perfect. What more could you ask for?

Where to start? The friendly welcome? The warm, well-planned comfortable room? The hearty breakfast? Too many good points to list. Let me say this: if I had not been there but was designing my ideal B & B and specifying the ideal hosts it would end very similar to Pwllgwilym B & B. I think Jane and Richard are too modest to make a fuss about how good things are there so let the reviews speak for themselves - and anything less than 5 * is a fib!

A friendly welcome awaits. We booked the accessible room it had plenty of space in the bedroom and wet room..No step access.

The room having a fridge is a good additional, the host provides fresh milk. I could store medication in fridge .. which is a nice relief.

The breakfast is spectacular and even the small breakfast is very filling. But make sure you leave room for toast !! As home made bread with local jams and honey ... completes a fulfilling breakfast.

There are walks from the B&B, the hosts advise of local places to explore, which helps you make the most of the stay.

A great place to stay.... like us I am sure you will look forward to booking a return visit.

Would give 10 Stars if I could. Jane and Richard are truly great hosts full of local knowledge. Lovely quiet setting with HUGE bedrooms! Delicious breakfast with generous portion sizes...so bring your appetite! Certainly recommend staying here if you’re looking for accommodation near to the Brecon Beacons.

Thank you Jane and Richard for a wonderful week. Staying at the cottage now for 10 years on our twice yearly visits is like becoming part of the family! You are always such fun to speak to and catch up on any news no matter how busy you are. It is so peaceful to stay here and the views are stunning. A must to stay here for anybody who wants all this as well as comfort and wellbeing. Tommy and Laura Cooper.

Best B&B in wales. Just been on a week-long roadtrip and boy did we save the best for last! And somehow also the cheapest place in the area!! Can't rate this place enough the breakfast was outstanding, the bed super comfortable and the shower was huge. Set away from the road we didn't hear a peep the entire night. Slept like a log. Will definitely be back next time we get the chance!

Stayed here for 1 night for work and can highly recommend. Super relaxed host's with an enormous breakfast that will keep you going all day.
Super clean and amazing rooms in a lovely quiet setting.
Pub within walking distance that serves food.
Many thanks for a lovely stay.

An absolutely fantastic place! Beautiful surroundings set well away from the road, so very peaceful. The grounds are extensive so you can escape the very well presented rooms (or self contained cottages), that are on offer here, and go for a wander in the surrounding fields without the fear of upsetting a farmer! The hosts Richard and Jane are so welcoming and only too happy to help. If you've a big walk planned, if you fancy a large one, Richards rather mountainous breakfast will supply ample sustenance for your day, if not the week!! I couldn't recommend highly enough.
If you need to know anything about the area you would do well to pick Richards brain as he knows every where that anyone would want to see, as he runs tours of the surrounding area from this place too. It really is a one stop shop for any tourist that wants that little bit extra.
