Stayed over after a day of shopping at Cheshire Oaks, Rooms were large, clean and warm. Evening meal was excellent , breakfast was good and cooked to order. The best thing was the excellent staff who couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Great place. Ample parking. Good food (albeit a light lunch). Beer garden and kids play area.

Stayed for one night here & the place was exceptionally lovely. Live music on the evening was an added bonus. Evening meal was superb, the sea bass was cooked perfectly. Proper English fry in the morning 👌room was very clean & comfortable & the staff extremely welcoming & helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here or if not a stay then definitely a meal & and a drink. Most important of all it’s dog friendly.

Great pub food in a beautiful setting. Been going for years. Recently We had my dads funeral here and they were really helpful.

We were the first wedding ceremony to take place following them getting their licence. We cannot thank Cara and the staff involved in the organisation of the event, everything went without a hitch. The room was decorated beautifully, and the food was superb with all the guests commenting on how nice everything was. All the staff were very friendly and professional and looked after us and our guests very well. We would have no hesitation in recommending this venue for your big day, although it didn’t matter to us, but there is a limit on numbers who can be catered for.

We walked in without booking when it was really busy and at first it appeared there was no table available, however staff went out of their way to accommodate us and gave us a table that was reserved with the proviso we could vacate by a certain time, which was fine. We were told to expect upto a 30 minute wait so we decided to order quickly, but we needn't have worried as our food arrived within 10-12 minutes. Food was lovely, I had fish tacos which were tasty and fresh with a side of chunky chips, my friend had the fish and chips which she really enjoyed. The service was absolutely spot on, we felt welcomed and well looked after especially when you consider how busy they were with some big tables in. I'll definitely go back.

We were the only guests, so it would have been nice to have been put in a room with a view, but our room was lovely. Everything was good but it would have been better with Wi-Fi! Service was good too.

Capable of serving beautifully cooked food. Have had some lovely meals here. Far better than most other nearby options. Better value and quality than chimneys, on a par with woodcote I would say. Worth booking as often full

Stopped over for 1 night as we were attending a local function. Warm welcome , clean tidy and comfortable room. Freshly prepared full English breakfast could not fault any thing about this stay. Excellent value for 2 people.

Stayed the night at Pollards Inn last weekend. Lovely little country pub, very well presented, warm and cosy atmosphere with great food and service and plenty of parking. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you would need for your stay, had a really good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast the following morning. Second time we've stayed and probably will again! Thank you all!!

What a great meal we had. Eleven of us were served efficiently by the staff who couldn't do enough for us. All drinks and food were served perfectly. Food was great, and atmosphere was lovely. Many Thanks.

A lovely restaurant pub, with friendly, welcoming staff and a great menu selection.

Called in late on Sunday afternoon as a party of 4 without a booking and although the pub was busy we were greeted warmly by the manager and seated and served immediately. The food was delicious, simple but well-cooked roast dinners and the fish and chips came with some lovely home-made sauces. The staff were fantastic with my 88 year old grandmother who has dementia and the outside play area was a big hit with my two young children. The locals were friendly and it was nice to see some dogs dotted around too. A pleasant surprise, we will definitely be back again.

Really lovely meal with a group of 12 of us. Good menu with something for everyone and Trappers Hat on draught. Great service from Scarlet and a really good, friendly atmosphere.

Stopped in for lunch just before they started serving it at 12 and they were happy to seat us. Very accommodating! Little mix up with the menus but in fairness, it was nice not to have so much to choose from! The meals were delicious and came out quickly, wouldn't hesitate to come back and bring my parents and friends. The atmosphere was wonderful and the log fire they have burning made the place lovely and warm. Fully recommended a visit.

This hotel is a lovely hidden gem! We had the best stay, the room was lovely and the bed was comfy. Food was delicious and the price was absolutely spot on. We met one of the owners and she was a delight and her adorable pooch. Would definitely recommend.
