Leytonstone Mosque

Beautiful & Clean masjid, some days they have Bukhoor on the entrance which makes the entrance & inside masjid smell really Great! Individual towels are present in the wudu area for people to clean themselves.

Kind Neighbours had left flowers with cards to show condolences due to the atrocities in New Zealand, (thought I should add & it will stay as a memory 🙂)

Great community Mosque, place of worship. Plenty of space, has a website for Namaaz / prayer times and other info and is air conditioned.

Alahamdulillah for Islam and Muslims. The house of Allah has to be the most peaceful place in the entire universe.
I loved this mosque and all others, subhanallah.
Imagine a few years ago we didn’t have many Masjeds, and now mashallah we have so many.

Beautiful Mosque, impeccable and they have one time use towels to dry feet after Ablution. Mosque brings a serene spiritual connection. We wish to see more youth activities and maybe engaging the local community.

This mosque has literally stolen my heart. When I am praying at the local mosque near my Mile End Store I think of my Leytonstone Masjid. I think “Oh, Leytonstone has this and Leytonstone mosque has that”. I compare everything to Leytonstone mosque. Alhamdulilah I am SO blessed to have such a beautiful, clean, tidy, well managed masjid so close to my store in Leytonstone. It’s SO clean, the toilets don’t creep me out. The local community are so well mannered, kind, welcoming and the imams are so nice too. Their recitation is great. I love the wudhu area. The heated flooring, the taps that I OPEN and close and get to choose how fast or slow I want the water to go…oooh I could just scream about how wonderful this masjid is. Every time I pray my salah elsewhere I wish I could be back here with my local brothers. Alhamdulilah, thank you Leytonstone Masjid for bringing me back to Islam. For strengthening my deen and for making me WANT to go to the masjid. Thank you for making my Ramadan so beautiful and so blessed. I am forever in your debt. Alhamdulilah. Alhamdulilah. I was looking for a local masjid for morning prayer and this was 5 minutes walk away from leytonstone Station beautiful atmosphere very peaceful and tranquil I would love to have a masjid like this in my local area

I regard this as my local masjid as I grew up in Leytonstone when this was then a church which has been recently purchased. I have many fond memories. The masjid is in a great location, within walking distance from the station and other amenities.
The masjid itself is very well run by the committee, great Imam. The atmosphere is peaceful, spiritual and serene.

Visted today for Friday Prayer, very good sermon delivered my Imam about the limited time we have in this life. I have enjoyed listening to his translation of the Hadith. Also very nice Quran recitation.

I have been going there for more than 15 yrs . Environment clean and tidy . The president and All members are very helpful when needed..it's very warmin winter & cool in summer due to the air conditioner install . Money given when requested are well spend in refurbishment and other items when required. They do have an open day yearly for local people from diverse community to give their views yusuf jooma

Now have bicycle racks outside, which is very convenient.

Nice vibrant community atmosphere. The mosque is always very clean and the volunteers are always very helpful.
