My husband and I recently tied the knot at Minstrel Court, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we visited in July, we knew this venue was something special. With two ceremony spaces and two dining areas to choose from (all 4 of which are beautiful!), Minstrel Court also has stunning grounds and a lake which provided the most picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception.

What truly set Minstrel Court apart for us, was their unparalleled flexibility and commitment to making our dream wedding day a reality. From the moment we expressed interest in the venue, they were incredibly accommodating and supportive of our ideas. Whether it was customizing the layout of our reception space or accommodating special requests, they went above and beyond to ensure that our day was exactly how we envisioned it.

From the very beginning, Minstrel Court were transparent with their costs, leaving no room for hidden surprises. This level of honesty and integrity was incredibly refreshing in an industry where transparency can sometimes be lacking. They worked closely with us to ensure that our budget was respected while still delivering a wedding experience that was everything we had dreamt of and more!

A huge part of our positive experience at Minstrel Court can be attributed to our wedding planner, Amber. From our initial consultation to the final moments of our wedding day, Amber was a joy to work with. Her impeccable communication skills and attention to detail made the planning process seamless and stress-free. No task was too big or too small for her, and her dedication to making our day perfect was evident every step of the way.

In conclusion, Minstrel Court was the perfect venue for our wedding day. We wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for a wedding venue that not only delivers on beauty and service but also operates with flexibility and transparency. I approached Minstrel Court with a request to lease the space so that I could propose to my partner here. I thought this was probably a silly request as this is a wedding/events venue, but I was extremely pleased when they got in contact with me to assure me that not only could I use the lake pavilion to propose, but that they would help me organise the entire thing including romantic decorations and providing a photographer. Minstrel Court, and specifically Amber who I was in contact with, have been nothing but generous and helpful. I genuinely felt like everyone on board was excited for my special day, and they worked above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. In terms of venue, the lake pavilion looked like something out of a fairy-tale, the entire ground is extremely pretty and a very romantic setting.
Thank you so much to everyone at Minstrel Court for making mine and my partners engagement a memory that will last a lifetime.

We had the most wonderful stay here for a hen do. We were let down from another venue we had originally booked however the hosts here were able to accommodate 11 of us last minute and were absolutely amazing. Cannot thank them enough. Such a beautiful stay, would 100% recommend. Clean towels provided for everyone and well equipped kitchen.

We held our wedding at minstrel court and I can’t recommend it enough. The staff have gone above and beyond to assist us where they can even when things go wrong (and they do go wrong). It’s such a beautiful place our wedding pictures turned out so great that we’re already thinking of coming back for our anniversary 🥺

After covid pushing our date back 3 times (Dave was very accommodating of this) we finally had our wedding 8th May.. it was the most perfect day. Dave made sure everything smoothly and the grounds looked beautiful! All staff were friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t have changed a thing other than the time going so fast!

We had our wedding here recently and it was just such a magical day. We had originally booked our wedding for May 2020 and due to covid we had to rearrange four times in total. Dave was fantastic throughout it all and we feel incredibly lucky to have booked our wedding with such a genuine person.

The venue is just beautiful with so much natural beauty in the grounds. The guests all raved about the food saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding and it was made extra special by the chef coming out at the end to check we enjoyed everything.

Dave and all the staff made the day run so smoothly and the staff were kind and attentive. There are also so many extras available to book that helped bring the day together.

We had our wedding at Minstrel Court on 3rd July 2021 after postponing it from July 2020 due to Coronavirus.
Dave postponed our wedding with zero fuss or stress. We only found out we could have the wedding size we wanted 3 weeks before the wedding date and Dave was so accommodating and patient and allowed us the time we needed to confirm numbers, final details and pay the final balance.
We booked the all inclusive package but Dave is so flexible with what this can include and pretty much allows you to have whatever you want and will always give you options and ideas for what might work well or better.
On the day we couldn’t have asked for more. Dave was on hand all day until the bitter end to make sure everything ran smoothly (which it did!). We introduced our Ushers to him before the ceremony so if he had any questions he took them straight to the ushers instead of us.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better host for our wedding and I’m so glad we chose Minstrel Court. The venue is simply stunning with so many options for where to have your ceremony and sit down meal. And plenty of great places to have your photos!
Minstrel court is also the only venue that will demonstrate the costs on their website without having to ‘enquire further’ and subject yourself to relentless sales pitching!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Minstrel Court to anyone who will listen. It was simply perfect.

We had our wedding here in October this year and it was just the best day ever. The day ran so smoothly and everyone had a brilliant time thanks to Dave and his team.
I loved getting ready in the bridal room in the morning was so spacious and very relaxing. The setting is obviously really pretty and unique def recommend in autumn time as the trees look so pretty. The food was so good all the guests raved about it, inc the buffet in the evening. And bob the DJ was brilliant was a very entertaining evening finished off by fireworks.
Couldn't have asked for a better day, weather was perfect too. Thanks to everyone involved here at minstrel court.

So beautiful and made so easy

Dave and everyone at Minstrel court made everything so easy and was always on hand in the past year with immediate answers to any questions we had.

On top of that the value for money is insane with so much included and great things like the bouncy castle coming in so cheaply. Having the ceremony venue (two to choose from), catering, dance floor and accommodation on site makes everything so much easier and stress free for all involved.

I can't recommend the place enough and I'm telling everyone I know to get married there as well.

We had THE most wonderful wedding 19.08.21. The garden is stunning, the Regency barn provided a charismatic backdrop for our wedding breakfast and the Long Gallery came alive with the band and LED dance floor. So glad we also upgraded to garden games and bouncy castle for the kids, finished by the firework display. The biggest compliment was that so many guests said the wedding venue felt like our own! That really is the beauty of this place. The food was also very good. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking to host a family-friendly wedding! Finally just to praise the venue for a hassle-free postponing and rearranging due to Covid. Made the day stress-free and even more special when it finally came. Thanks so much to Dave and all the team.

We got married at Minstrel Court in August 2019 - a stunningly beautiful venue with a relaxed country side vibe. Planning the wedding was very easy, Dave responds very promptly and will help with all ideas. We got ready on site and had the ceremony by the lake and the wedding breakfast in the barn - which is gorgeous! The food was delicious and completely customised. The grounds are so lovely and all our guests enjoyed being outside by the lake, relaxing on the grass on picnic blankets or playing some garden games, before DJ Bob started the dancing in the evening! It was the perfect day.

Had my daughter's wedding here at the weekend. What a fantastic day, brilliant venue, great food with great service. The DJ and wife were excellent.... would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a wedding venue.

We had our wedding here on the 27th May and it was the most perfect day! Everything ran smoothly, the weather was beautiful the staff where fantastic and Dave was brilliant and just sooo helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better day!!

Beautiful venue with stunning grounds. Has a great lake that looks stunning in the summer months.

We attended a wedding at this venue last weekend and was amazed at how lovely it was. The grounds were outstanding . The staff were lovely and so accomodating. I would definitely recommend this place as a wedding venue.

Recently went for a friend's wedding. Great place for weddings with lake, and I'm assuming a purposely built little doorway perfect for photos. Large marquee. Only recommendation was could have had more chairs and tables outside to sit down. There was very few and it was a hot day.

Great venue with beautiful scenery. All of our guests complimented the grounds and the food, which I would also say was delicious. Dave is a straight talker and won't mess you around or hide fees and conditions. Dave was also very willing to work around what we wanted for the day, rearranging, adding and removing things from the plan to cater to our wishes. All costs are presented openly and up front, which I appreciated and was a refreshing change compared to other wedding venues. The day ran very smoothly and the on-site accommodation was great (and very convenient).

I am the house DJ and I just love working at this venue - Dave is excellent at accommodating everyone’s needs to ensure your wedding day is perfect. I will meet you all on the LED dance floor!
