Beaucare Launderette

I visited this launderette while working near Camberley, to wash my smalls and other items. They have many washing machines and tumble dryers. As well as a change machine to change your notes into coins to use in the machines. I left with clean and dry clothes, so everything about my experience there was good. And there is a nice pub across the road.

Good store for wash and dry.
Accept only 1 coin, it's changes machine on wall accept 5, 10, 20 £ notes.
1 £ = 6 min dry

I have used this launderette several times and I have never had to wait for a machine to become available. I mainly use the large machines to wash our duvets. The cost of using one of the larger machines is currently £12 and the duration of the hot wash (programme no. 1) is around 25 minutes. The tumble dryers cost £1 per 6 minutes and it cost me £4 to dry my son's double duvet. This launderette has a change machine so today I changed the £20 note I had for £20 worth of pound coins which is obviously very convenient. I will continue to use this launderette in the future.

First time ever in a launderette. It was a pleasant experience. Recommend taking your own powders and softeners. Coin operated machines, so ensure you bring some. Or use the coin machine to exchange your notes.

This launderette is absolutely indispensible. Without it we'd be lumbered. Such a vital local service, and 99% of the time there are no problems at all.

Since my last revue the spin dryer has now been taken out completely so makes that comment redundent. I feel thats ecologically unsound but financially a good move. Very clean and tidy. Just a couple of negative points, the spin dryer hasn't worked for some time now which doubles the drying time if you have used the washers. Lastly the dryers don't all work as well as each other and there are often a couple out of order, but overall well above your average launderette.

I visit fairly regularly and don’t normally have any issues but a number to call if there are any problems with the machines would be appreciated. I have just wasted £5 on a dryer that is completely cold, despite the fact that the temperature is all the way up on high!

It's expensive and has no instructions.

10kg wash takes about 45mins

No detergent or conditioner included either.

Dryers are £1 for six minutes.

Has cctv, but no attendant present today.

Has a coin machine for change that takes notes.

Was almost empty when I was there, probably price related!

Launderette is ok but extremely frustrating that there is no number to call other than a phone in an unmanned room inside the launderette. I Was there today and there was a man sitting in there who smelt very bad, I won’t go into what his clothes had on them, he had no shoes or socks on and he was doing something to his feet!! I didn’t realise until i had put my clothes in the dryer so i waited outside. Thankfully someone else wedged the door open to let some air in. Has put me off going there!!

I’ve never used a launderette before (and same for the other 2 people I spoke to during my visit who also had no idea & she left as had no physical £) and this is unmanned and there is NO information on how to use the (large) machines, how much they are or how long they take (until you put money in), but as you’re meant to wait it’s not overly helpful. Washer JL40 at the back clearest so waited to use, wash cycle otherwise unclear. What’s the difference between rapid dry 30 and 50? How long does £1 give you?
