Aelfgar Surgery

I've always had reasonable service from this practice in the 25+ years I've been attending, but during the relatively recent past there have been changes which have turned "reasonable " into "excellent".
The staff are friendly and helpful; the doctors and nurses are kind and caring and everyone seems to go the extra mile. It is so much easier to speak to someone now, much easier to get an appointment, and I feel valued.

New to surgery and have found both the doctor I saw and all admin staff I've contacted numerous times beyond helpful and friendly. So glad I've joined this practice, brilliant service.

After being ill and struggling through for most of December I became very poorly after Christmas. I saw a student GP today 3rd January. He was thorough, empathetic and caring. He genuinely wanted to get the right diagnosis and get me better. He consulted and reviewed his findings with Dr Stokes and I was given the very best care and attention. I hope he stays on as a GP - we need more like him. Dr Stokes is knows her stuff and I trust her implicitly.

Efficient, helpful and organised Surgery. Glad I moved here. Staff are lovely and very understanding.

The staff, are caring, they empathise how you feel when u are ill, they are not intimidating in any way. They are a teaching surgery but the learning doctors are just as good as the partners/senior/foundation GP'S basically when u are there, u are given the full check over before leaving the room, they make sure u understand what illness/diagnosis is, and that you understood what will happen, and the treatment will be.

I’ve just moved to rugeley from Wolverhampton and I was really nervous about going to the doctors as at my old doctors the receptionists are rude and doctors unhelpful but I walked this doctors this morning and the receptionists smiled at me and was really helpful and kind I’m actually looking forward to going to the doctors now.
