Mathew absolutely saved my bacon on chase the sun ride. As I rode through Bagshot my spoke broke and I took it into the bike shop in the town and they couldn’t fix it and along came Mathew who said yeah no problem can fix it no worries.. so I headed up to his house 5mins from shop and he had a complete workshop in his garage was amazing he new pretty much everything there is to no about bikes and particularly wheels.
He had me back on the road in 10mins!
Absolute life saver that day..
I would totally recommend him he is a ninja wheel guy!

I’ve been going to Matthew for a few years now, both with my road bike and mountain bikes. He has completed everything from a minor services and adjustments to replacement of all working parts on my well used trusty MTB that is now like new.

Matt has maintained all 3 of my bikes (mtb, road and commuter/gravel) for the last few months and he has been great. He’s consistently picked up issues before they become problems. He has been very competitive and it’s been extremely convenient to pickup/drop off at work. Excellent service as always. Matthew sorted out a di2 issue through a methodical process of software updates and diagnostics, checking wiring and stress testing individual components - also consulting directly with shimano to confirm the cause, then he took care of the warranty paperwork to replace the faulty part. He kept me updated on each step he took along the way.

Matt came over today and worked on not just one but seven bikes in one afternoon, he did everything from re-taping handlebars to straightening mech hangers, bleeding brakes to rebuilding wheel hubs. My much loved, but now over 10 year old Mountain Bike, had developed some issues with gear change, and pedaling just didn't feel right. Matt quickly diagnosed the problems and managed to resource some hard to find parts to make the repair. Now it's riding like the day I first picked it up. Thanks Matt.

I cycle eight miles to work everyday. This is how I get my exercise, and I get cranky very quickly when I cannot do it for more than a day. It keeps me balanced.

I have a number of bikes, which takes a heavy toll on every one of them. When one breaks, I use another one until I can get round to fixing it. In the past I've tried using the local bike shops to service them. Every one of them has missed really serious problems and provided me with really poor service. Happy to take the money, and ignore problems I've raised that need addressing, completely wasting my time. This has forced me to do my own servicing. Working long hours, I really don't have the time to tinker as much as I would like.

Matt, provides me with a service that I rate as invaluable. His knowledge about bikes, is second to none. As a result of the heavy toll of cycling to work every day, all my bikes are in desperate need of a major service overhaul. Matt picks the bike up from my house, strips them down, replaces parts as needed and returns the bike in a better than new state. He has found countless problems and rectified them before I even noticed them. No fuss. I could not ask for a better service. I am going to be a regular customer

I came to see Matt yesterday as I had a problem with a front derailleur not shifting properly, turned out the problem was with the inner cable routing along with a few tweaks needed to the derailleur.

Matt was able to fix the problem within 45 minutes on the day I called him.

He also provided me with some invaluable tips as someone new to owning a road bike

New to Mountain Biking I bought an entry level MTB and started riding the trails at Swinley Forest early last year. Believing I had made some progress over the Summer months, I felt I needed to kick on to the next level. Now, I could have joined the local gym but on reflection upgrading the bike was probably the best option..!!

As luck would have it, my wife had noticed that a new mobile cycle mechanic had set up business in our local village. Speaking to Matthew it was clear he had a passion for and a great knowledge of all things ‘bike’. A package of upgrades (which on reflection was everything other than frame, saddle and handlebars…) was agreed and Matthew effectively re-built my bike to the new spec.
