What an amazing place. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I messed up my booking which they resolved quickly, efficiently and without any issue. The rooms are very well appointed, with quality fixtures and fittings. The accessible room was without doubt the best we had ever experienced......it clearly demonstrated that it was well researched and a personal experience of disability had been taken into account. The food was outstanding with a three-course breakfast included in the price. We can strongly recommend this place, it exceeded our expectations in every way. If you want great accommodation, great food and exceptional service, this place is for you.

We had a weekend away at The Royal, Heysham to relax, unwind and treat ourselves. Everything about the venue is top class - the room, the food and the staff are fantastic. Thoroughly recommend for a first rate break with top quality food and surroundings. We also had some lovely forest/coastal walks around beautiful Heysham. Well worth a visit and can't wait to go back!

We recently had a great 3 day stay at The Royal Heysham. Very good location with plenty of parking onsite. There’s a park, church and a nice coastal walk to Morecambe very close to the hotel. The quality of the food, selection of drinks and level of customer service was definitely above average and we would happily stay here again.

2nd stay at this excellent hotel. I was in the area on work business. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm. Best shower ever in a hotel. The staff are great. Light hearted, friendly and helpful. I couldn’t make breakfast in the morning so a staff member (Phil) left a bag outside my room door. Filled roll (BLT) crisps an Apple with a Yogurt, and a bottle of Orange juice. Well impressed and will be back

Stated here with our dig Beryl and it was the best dog friendly room we ve stayed in. Spotlessly clean. A few nice touches in the room were appreciated.
It s a perfect location for coastal walk into Morecombe then return to sit in the grand beer garden for a drink and snack.
We d booked a table in the restaurant and were served by friendly staff. My fish & chips , which I was delighted it was haddock was the best I d eaten since living in Lancashire.
Breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and plentiful, kept us going most of the day.
The Royal is definitely a place we ll be soon revisting.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

The Royal in Heysham Village served up a cracking Sunday dinner for the six of us today. The roast pork loin we all enjoyed was spot on – looked the business and tasted even better. But let's give a shout-out to Lauren, I think she was restaurant manager. She was very friendly, efficient, and made sure we had everything we needed. Can't fault the place based on today's experience and would definitely go back. If you're in Heysham, give it a try – you won't be disappointed.

The Inn was just as charming as we hoped. Cozy room, modern bathroom, excellent coffee and tea in the room. Having the water just steps away is great too.

We had dinner outside at the pub and it was delicious, as was the breakfast.

Easy to find in the village. Stopped off had a couple of beer's to cool down, whilst sat outside back yard in a large beer garden, outside bar too. Inside was busy with families eating food/drink. I would visit here again in future visits. Great customer service, very clean, friendly staff.

Lovely restaurant (I didn't visit the hotel) with beautiful views, great food and friendly staff.
The beer garden is possibly one of the most beautiful ones in the area,
it appeared to be very dog friendly and had nice surroundings.
Big area to sit and relax surrounded by greenery, fairy lights and heaters.
We will definitely come back here in the summer when exploring Heysham village.☺

Excellent hotel in great location. We booked an overnight stay as going to The Isle of Man the next day on the ferry which was nearby. Excellent room, great dining experience for dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

We visited the pub after a beautiful walk at the nearby Bay where we watched the sun set over the calm silver ocean. My partner and I shared the most melt in your mouth brownie with a dash of thick cream and a raspberry companion. We doubled that up by sharing the most gloriously indulgent beautifully thick creamy tiramisu that truly truly tasted as if it had been made by the angels for a heroic warrior returning from an adventure in far away lands where he had fought villains and rescued damsels in distress. If you visit, I highly recommend the brownie-tiramisu power punch. (We also had the salted French fries as a warm up, also very much worth the trip). The staff were friendly and the place is dog friendly. Overall, 10/10, would come again.

P. S. Just came back from the bathroom. The hand-wash and hand creams smells DIVINE.

Very nice, old original building is beautiful, large covered smoking area and outside seating. Staff were really welcoming. Drinks were a little pricey but it was worth it.

Our stay was outstanding all staff went above and beyond the hotel spotless our room was disabled access and dog friendly and had everything required cleaned and replenished daily..the breakfast choice is amazing cereals yogurts bagels and of course hot choice and all cooked to order..The lunch and dinner menu also has vast choice would definitely recommend the Gammon ,pork and fish which was what I tried..The prices on drinks and food are very reasonable so can definitely recommend either staying or just calling in for a drink and a meal..The area around the hotel is wonderfully so quiet and relaxing so much to see and do even if you need mobility aids ie scooter chair walker ect you will be able to get around with ease would definitely be returning Thankyou to all staff and management
