The guys are polite friendly and helpful.
As a female angler I've been in some fishing shops where the staff can be a bit sexists and condescending because you are a woman so it's nice to come across a place where you are made to feel welcome in a great shop like this.
The bonus is that it's only a 5 minute drive from where I fish so I can always pop there if I've ran out of bait/terminal tackle etc.
A great atmosphere where you are never rushed or have salespeople trying to sell you something you don't want.
I only discovered this shop last year and it is a little treasure.

Well stocked and well set out. Happy, chatty, informative staff. Only went in for maggots and spent £1.40. I have been to numerous tackle shops just for bait and have left feeling as if I should have spent more however not the case here staff just happy to talk 🎣 fishing☺

Well this shop is great, the staff/owners know exactly what they are talking about and give quality customer service, they are happy to talk through all the options and know exactly what you need for a starter or a an experienced angler. We went here as they were recommended by a fishery and we are glad we did, we got our two kids fully set with everything they need

Really friendly staff and were super with my 4 year old son. I never went in the shop (Covid) but looked to be well stocked and very good selection of alsorts.

Incredible customer service. My recent purchase through Burscough Anglian was late due to covid/brexit delays, but Burscough Anglian kept me constantly up to date and were 100% transparent as to the item's location. Some of the bigger anglian shops could certainly learn from Burscough's customer service. I will use them in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Huge variety of fishing tackle and baits available at this shop. Staff are always happy to help. They also offer advice and tips when it comes to fishing. Day fishing tickets available here for Platts Lane Lake, which is just up the road.
