Although the entrance didn't look that inviting the pub we ate in was welcoming with the draw of a real open fire.
Friendly staff and wonderful food, not cheap but this was freshly cooked to our specific requirements so no complaints at all, we will be back.

We made our dining experience an adventure. Raj kindly opened up early so that we could take the train from Machynlleth along the beautiful Cambrian Coast. It was a cold night but Raj had the heaters going full blast and we had an Indian feast. The restaurant was decorated nicely and the food was delicious. We have been spreading the word. Next time we will take the train to Barmouth and then walk back over the bridge and make it day out. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant

A very warm welcome from our host, absolutely gorgeous food, perfectly presented..and most importantly, well worth the money. 5* doesn't do them credit 😁👍

Indiana Cuisine is always excellent all round. Brilliant service - the rare kind that you will remember years later. Gorgeous food. Beautifully cooked, authentic options, piping hot and fresh. I visit my parents in Fairbourne and coming here is a real treat. I had my 30th birthday meal there with some friends, and this evening we celebrated my parents' wedding anniversary there, and they were both very special meals. Thank you! See you soon

A truly amazing place - best Indian food!
The friendliest host awaits you here in Fairbourne with real and authentic dishes. The Biryani is like a spice-firework in your mouth and every dish we had was fantastic. We visited several years ago and simply had to come back - a must visit here in Wales.

We have visited this restaurant many many times and have never been disappointed. The host is so accommodating and the food consistently delicious. Reviewers comparing this unfavourably to a typical Birmingham Indian Takeaway clearly do not appreciate genuine authentic cuisine or the fact that it is worth paying a little extra to get such a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic little Indian! We turned up (not realising it's best to book) and even though at present Indiana Cuisine are doing two bookings a night they ever so kindly fitted us in. They then proceeded to look after us for our whole stay, we had complimentary food which was so very kind, and delicious and the whole experience was fantastic. So attentive, informative and it's somewhere we'd definitely return to. Thank you Indiana Cuisine for making my Mum's birthday meal so memorable!

Absolutely wonderful time. The owner Raj was remarkably hospitable and friendly. He ensured that we had a fantastic dining experience and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and customized to meet our preferences. He even brought a small sample of our entrees to ensure the flavor was to our liking. We drove 25 minutes out of the way to dine here and we would gladly do it again!

Well what can I say......
What a lovely little place this is💕💕💕
Went to Fairbourne for the day and upon leaving saw this Indian and phoned on spec to check if they were open. I was told only for takeaway and when I Said "Oh, not to eat in then?" Was asked how many of us there were, "just 2". The owner said " Give me 15 mins and I'll set up a table for you "!! How lovely is that? They only do 2 tables on a Saturday night and they were already booked in but we were lucky enough aswell.
We felt so looked after, the owner was so nice and couldn't do enough for us. His wife does the cooking and it was really authentic and traditional. The traditional peshwari naan bread is to die for. Not doughy at all and really sweet.
5 STARS 🌟 Highly recommend this hidden gem. If you are lucky enough to get in.

2023...closed. moved to holiday village 20 miles away. What a shame.

2022 update. Now open again after pandemic. Still absolutely excellent. Real Indian food served in a great atmosphere. Booking essential.

Wow. Never expected to find such a place in the shadow of Cadair Idris! Fabulous authentic indian food served in a great setting by lovely people. This is not the usual curry house fayre, but real food. This place would rival the best in Birmingham (my home town) or Leicester (my adopted town).
Superb from start to finish, and Raj kindly offered us a couple of tasters of other things from the menu - and they were fabulous too.
We will definitely be back !

The food here is absolutely incredible, there were lots of really tasty vegan and veggie options, too. We had such a nice evening here. The owner was the perfect level of attentive without being in your face. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area 👌

Exquisitely prepared and presented modern Asian food. The quality you'd expect at 3 times the price in a city centre location. Yet here it is in a sleepy little Welsh seaside village. I particularly enjoyed the fish dishes which had obviously been cooked to order, fresh and perfect. They get busy so don't be surprised if there's a wait, good food takes time. Charming and friendly. An unexpected blessing.

My partner and I decided to take an evening stroll down to Fairbourne beach and we’re hungry around 9.45pm. Despite it being very late and a quiet Sunday evening, the owner was super helpful and accommodating - he opened up the little garden/terrace area especially for us and his wife prepared some delicious dishes for us both - lamb curry (was delicious, nice heat level and meat was very tender) and a prawn Karachi (again, full of flavor and good ration of prawn:sauce) and well as some rice, delicious parathas, and popadums! Very grateful for the hospitality and we really enjoyed the lovely food <3 Nick & Leanne

Great food and fantastic service in this unlikely little village at the far end of Wales. Great advice from the owner on the food, a lot of patience with us, and as we were in a hurry, he accommodated us in the nicest manner just before actual opening hours. Great dinner and memories to cap a nice weekend in beautiful Snowdonia. Highly recommended delicious food after a long day’s hiking. Thanks again !

We had a fantastic time here with family for birthday celebration. Really wonderful service and amazing food. If we're back in the area in future will definitely be back! Good luck with your new ventures and thanks for the recommendation of waterfall walk we went yesterday!

Fantastic little place, the food was very fresh, and very quick on the service. As a vegetarian, I don't usually have a lot of choice when I go out, but after my meal our host had given us a few samples of other vegetarian to trial which is really appreciated. Overall a really friendly experience, and will be coming again.

We drove two hours to get here, just to sample the delights the Indiana has to offer. We have travelled the nation, and sampled curries in every place we have stayed, but this is my personal favourite. I don't visit half as often as I would like, but when I do, it never fails to impress. Highly recommend this place to any real curry fan.

Perfect food and perfect service, nice little restaurant and well worth visiting. I would eat here every day if I lived near enough to do so. Even the aubergine was perfectly cooked, I cannot fault anything or any part of the experience. Highly recommend.

I think most people would agree that the best place to eat Indian food might be India. Failing that; the bigger cities in England where the taste has grown immensely since the 60’s. Being brung up in Derby and a citizen of the East Midlands I might not be an expert but am used to a variety of Asian cuisines. When I first visited this little restaurant a decade ago I was astounded to find such a brilliant chef and such a careful, attentive owner in far west Wales, off the beaten track, so far away from the big cities. I expected a plate of curry and rice and was, to our pleasure, astounded.
A decade on we still visit Indiana Cousine every single time we visit Einion House, (the best guesthouse in the west), as the food is so good. Book early beforehand and discuss what you would like to eat with Raj. He will advise and you will not be disappointed. At the moment they are trying to restrict in house bookings but, as covid eases, that may change.
The area, in general, has suffered much during the lockdown and the sea has not helped. The front looks run down which may be off-putting. Believe me none of that matters since the food is excellent. There is, simply, no better asian restaurant for a hundred miles!
