I have always found the staff extremely friendly. Some are more experienced than others of course, but always ready to advise or seek advice when they don't know. I bought tiles from the shop about 20 years ago and ago a few months ago - always extremely high quality, but quite dear. Ask for a quote first before ordering so you don't get a shock!

The manager seemed more interested in looking after her dog and looked moodily at the customers rather than providing any assistance. I went ready to buy the tiles and the other person (who was seemingly working alone) eventually took my money. Any other tile shop has better service.

As nice as there bathroom wear looks, it’s no where near worth the money. Despite their products being hand made by Italian artisans or what ever they say to justify price - Their products don’t last and when you complain they just point to a lack of care or service. When you need to fix your shower after just 3 years of what they claim to be ‘wear and tear’ (inc water softener), the cylinder costs 450£ to purchase. My advice, spend the 450 on a perfectly decent shower with another company.

Ouch, the customer service experience below sounds awful! I hope it was resolved in the end. Although if my own customer care experience with Fired Earth is anything to go by, I am guessing not... OK-looking (albeit expensive) products, but what's the point when you cannot count on Fired Earth standing by them if anything goes wrong??
