This has to be my favourite place! Tuna & Chesse panini with the home made coleslaw is delicious. The deserts are good too especially the roulade. The atmosphere is always nice as it always attracts a great clientele. Its picturesque environment makes for an excellent lunch time spot. Whether you choose to sit indoors or out you’ll have the pleasure of meeting the owners Mark & Lisa and their team who’ll make your visit an enjoyable experience. You’ll enter a stranger and leave as a friend. I can’t recommend this place enough! ♥ please call to book a table it can get busy. If it’s a beautiful day sit outside front or back.

Fantastic cafe set in a country side off the main road. Food and staff are excellent, visit several times a month. Sit inside or eat outside in the well kept gardens. Highly recommend......

We paid a visit to these amazing tearooms today 15/9/23...my daughter in law ...my baby grandson and myself were seated in the conservatory with the most beautiful views...the staff were so very friendly and attentive taking our order and the food was absolutely delicious ...the pots of tea we ordered too were very nice.
...This was our 1st time visiting but it certainly won't be the last...an absolute gem of a place.
Many thanks to you all for such a pleasant afternoon.

I'm a regular visitor the Stables Tea Room. I love the atmosphere, the surroundings and the menu, which whilst simple is perfect for a light lunch. Mark and Lisa make you feel very welcome, almost part of the family. In the cold months, a lovely wood stove is alight making the tea room feel cosy and relaxing!

Great place to eat, hidden away off the main road. Outdoor seating is a bonus in the better weather. Highly recommended.....

The food was delicious. The entrance is strange, a lot of deep shingle to walk across and I didn't find that particularly good .. I certainly would not be able to push a wheelchair through the shingle and I wouldn't be able to get a wheelchair up the huge step between the cafe and the conservatory, But the food was excellent.

Typical English tea room with good selection of hot and cold drinks (no licence for alcohol) sandwiches and light lunches . Excellent service and reasonable prices! Booking recommended at lunchtime.

What a little Gem! Ours was a totally random follow the sign from the main road for a quick coffee, ended up staying for cake too! It's further back from the main road than I'd have thought but well worth a visit. Lovely friendly staff, the drinks and cake were delicious. Outdoor seating perfect for a warm sunny day and a fair amount of indoor seating too. May be worth booking a table ahead as it was full when we got there so we sat outside in the gazebo which was perfect cover from the light rain.
Would recommend the owners upgrade their signage on the main road as the place is much nicer than the sign would suggest!

This place was recommended by a family friend. I took my 84 year old mother for her first proper outing since lockdown began.

We were both very impressed with the measures in place and they seemed to be going the extra mile with all the hygiene procedures.

Very friendly staff and lovely food. We sat inside in the conservatory view a great view of the grounds. Loads of outdoor seating available.

Would never have known the place existed if we hadn't had it recommended.

Very impressed.

Hearty freshly made sandwiches with side salad and a nice selection of homemade cakes. Plenty of outside and indoor seating surrounded by open space and well cultivated gardens. Friendly and speedy service from Mark and Lisa, well recommended.

Really lovely place. Set in a beautiful area with country views all around. Very friendly owners always welcoming. The food is excellent all fresh and good quality not a massive menue but what they do is done well. Well worth a visit for a light lunch.
