Post Office Travel Money

Very polite lady..efficient and quick..

Oh dear. I like Rugeley because there's some really nice people but not at this post office I'm afraid. She is rude, obnoxious and down right ignorant, that is an understatement. Stay clear, spend your money at a post office that wants your custom.

Multiple occasions it has been closed, despite saying it's open on Google (the middle of the afternoon too!)

Staff are rude, unhelpful, and act like they aren't being paid to do the job.

One particular occasion I actually left without achieving my purpose of posting a parcel because there was no one manning the desk, I stood and waited for 10 minutes and could hear people moving around but no one served me and there was no option to ring for assistance etc.

Save yourself the hassle and find an alternative post office.

I dared to venture in here to get travel money - wish I hadn't have bothered.

The lady didn't really want to change the money - and when I said i was paying cash and not card, the look on her face said it all, as if counting the British notes in exchange for Turkish Lira was such a big deal.

She preferred me paying by card as its less hassle for her. I think she was on the brink of asking me to leave.

Avoid at all costs.

I now use Brereton Post Office. Great service.

If you need to use a post office in Rugeley, don’t bother going to the one in town. The lady is uncommunicative, and put me in a position where I paid for tracked service when I asked for second class. Paying 3x the cost it should have been. She also wouldn’t take an envelope which was prepaid and told me to post it outside in the box, when upon doing so I couldn’t locate. She could have just taken it, it meant nothing to her to just pop it in the bag.
I find the post office at Spar much better service. This woman is a jobs worth and a pain in the neck

The male and female in this post office should not be in customer service and certainly have no idea how to run business.
The woman is rude, sullen, spiteful, unhelpful and obstructive and the man enables her behaviour and thinks that it's funny to cat-call customers who dare to call out their shoddy business practices.
Avoid at all costs and let's hope that the financial impact will see staff who want to serve customers running this post office instead.

Very unhelpful. I live on a narrowboat and asked if I could have some post sent to me poste restante. They declined saying they didn't offer the service as they did not have enough space. This has not been a problem for any of the other post offices i have used.

Women was 100% rude and very unprofessional, how can they run a business with that rudeness. This Post Office needs to have better people running this post office.

I don't really want to comment about staff members' personality, I think the rest of the reviews have done that. And I rarely post lower than 3 stars. But I just felt unwelcome and that I shouldn't be in there.
