Cuckoo Oak

Amazing experience today, took the kids out, fed four people and drinks for £30 including desserts for the kids and starters, amazing value. The staff were great as usual, checking everything was okay but without making us feel pestered. I forgot to get the mains in the pictures but I have attached starters (kinda half way through). The place was pretty full with just a 30 minute wait for 4 meals and starters! Kids enjoyed the food. I got bonus dad points thanks to the staff and well priced food 😂

Great food always made to feel welcome and staff are all friendly great for families and for live football games pool and darts

We regularly go here (a bit too often probably ha ha). Very friendly staff, lovely food, lovely atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble. Have witnessed different members of staff dealing with awkward customers at times and each of them handle everything very professionally. Very upbeat staff (Suzie is always smiling & having a bit of banter with customers, even when under pressure). Working in hospitality isnt the easiest of jobs but they do a fantastic job.

The service today was amazing, my son brought me here after raving about the food and service, he was right, Fred who looked after us most the visit was kind, friendly and most importantly went the extra mile even though they were rushed off their feet. The manager also helped us and again even though rushed off her feet, she found time to help us. Unfortunately I did not catch her name, but she should be proud of the service we received today. I would highly recommend.

Often go for a pint and we've been for food too.. its pretty standard food. A massive menu and they have curry nights or 2 for 1 nights ect. Sport on the television's.
Good value menu and portions, good ales and lagers. Plenty of seating outside and free parking

Great little place. First time visiting, brilliant that they welcomed our dog (in the bar only). Food great price. Staff really lovely and helpful. 😊

Just popped out on z Tuesday evening for a change, 3 pubs we tried didn't do food until Thursday?.. this was a delightful evening, nice to see the dominoes teams playing, food was lush, service was very helpful and polite may well become a Tuesday regular.. Well done cockoo oak team.

Love coming here for a quick bite to eat with my partner! Cocktails and wings are the faves. Lovely waitresses, especially Suzie/Susie, always smiling and welcoming!

We went today (3 of us) for lunch at noon. The service was pretty quick and the food was piping hot and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately we didn't get to have desserts as we were all full.

Me and my wife went to the cuckoo oak on Thursday 9th. We had a lovely meal and received great friendly service from the team leader Suzie. She was so friendly and helpful
I have been on several other occasions with people I support and Suzie has always gone the extra mile for us all.

Cannot recommend this pub enough, the food is lovely and staff are very pleasant. Suzzi was on shift who was so welcoming and friendly. Plus 2 for £8 on cocktails

Called in for 2 takeaway meals, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly! Really nice service which is hard to find these days! A huge well done to the team here! Food was served piping hot and was delicious! I’d definitely recommend a visit here, it’s a credit to Susan and the team!

Amazing food and service for a busy night suzie was really helpful and professional highly recommend this place.

First time at the Cuckoo and the food was great! The service was absolutely spot on really efficient and so friendly. If we are back in the area again we will definitely return.

10 August 2024 ordered 2. meals 1 was crispy chicken sandwich of super Saturday no garlic bread on a Saturday spoken to very rude and just told pick another meal

What a place, stopped by accident so decided to have a massive breakfast. Huge meal, hot and cooked well. First patron we saw had face tatts, so we didn't know what we were getting into. Great place, great staff and better food. We'll worth stopping at

Good food at reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere for order and younger people. some areas have television booths for the kids. Order food and drinks at the bar and friendly staff deliver to your table.
