Haven't been to the Abergavenny market for a few months, and after watching a program on TV, the indoor market has a few new stalls that are interesting. The food stalls are a lot better, especially spicy cooked food and the different types of coated nuts we had a great day out. The outside part isn't as good as it used to be, but still, a lot of friendly faces and definitely going back more often 👍

If like me you're into motorbikes and everything to do with bikes this is a great place to meet like minded souls and make friends over a mug of whatever.
If you sit in their comfy seats long enough you'll see a wide cross section of makes and models of bikes old and new and people old like me and those new to biking all are welcome.
It's a great place for coffee and something to eat and a relaxing destination for a ride.

Always something new to look at! Really get a sense they take pride in the place and the little shops in arches are so cute!

Well worth visiting, lots of varied stalls from crystals and jewellery to homemade baking!
Accessible to all, dog friendly too. Toilets situated outside at the rear of the market.

Lovely market hall, our first visit and ground floor stalls so it's ok for wheelchairs. There's a good size car park at the other end of the main high street which has free parking for blue badge holders but do check just in case it changes. The hall has different theme days which I feel is a great idea. We went on a wed and that day was antiques type stalls, several vinyl stalls well worth a visit. There is a cafe inside and loads in the high street.

A big thank you to all the customers who braved the bitter cold to come down to the Wednesday Flea Market in Abergavenny. Delighted to say we will be there again next Wednesday the 21st with lots of new items. Come on down and grab yourself a last minute Christmas bargain 🎄🎄

Wonderful to find a real market in a "real" town - that is to say not a town which has either been taken over by the big shop chains, or deserted and left empty by the big shop chains. It's an authentic town, true to its history, and the market is a place many of us will recognise from our childhoods, when every town had a market hall or two full of the stallholders who were experts in their trade.

Went to the Saturday Market with my Mother. Throughly enjoyed our trip. Local bakery/Welsh cake providers and crafts people. Permanent stalls around the edges along with small local cafes and coffee shops. Particularly liked 'Little Singapore'

Just a great place to go. Wednesdays are the better days, more stalls. DOGS are allowed in the outdoor section and I did see one of two dogs on leads inside too.

Came here on holiday. Great market and bought some good objects. Lots of stalls. Abergavenny has a great range of shops apart from the market stalls, and their charity shops (I counted at least 15) had some nice objects. Check their Facebook page . Wednesday is flea market (very good) other days generally market

Surprisingly nice market. Not as large as Swansea market, but definitely nicer and with great flair. Parking nearby available, within the historic town centre. The backside of the market allows great views. Really a place to enjoy. Close by the old castle too. Recommended for a day out, lovely place.
Have to visit again. Nice :-)
