The friendly faces welcomed us in, the food was outstanding. Didn't need to wait long. The full Scottish breakfast was amazing. And then some cakes to take away with us for later. 100% recommend, love this place :)

They do a very tasty vegetarian breakfast 😊
The staff are helpful and friendly and the cakes and traybakes are absolutely cracking. The peppermint slice was delicious.

A little unassuming cafe serving great food. We had the full breakfast and toasties. They are both excellent. Well impressed with the freshness of the salad. Didn’t expect this. Not to mention the good northern portion. Would need to come back another time for the cakes and coffee.

A very pleasant lunch here. Friendly service and great food. I had chicken tikka nan bread which was very nice and my girlfriend had a coronation chicken jacket potato. My girlfriend said it was “the best coronation chicken she’d ever had.”

Lovely place easy to drive past. Lovely mac and cheese and scrambled egg on toast. Too much food so took cakes away! Yummy. Definitely worth a visit!!

Great little cafe. Friendly staff and quick service. Had the full breakfast. Huge portion and tasted great. Cakes looked amazing, but no room after the huge breakfast.

We booked afternoon tea for quite large group and were all thoroughly impressed and delighted. Lots of delicious homemade food! And a great variety. We couldn't finish and had to take some home in boxes.

The staff were attentive and friendly and they were very accommodating of the different dietary needs of our group.

All in all we had a wonderful afternoon and would be delighted to come back in future.

What a great wee cafe this is.. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is excellent and portions very generous. That cream of beef taco soup was off the scale! And don't get me started on the cakes.. Awesome! Our go-to place when in Dalbeattie. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Nice lunch, really friendly service (my daughter loved the colouring book whilst we were waiting for our food being cooked).

We were cycling the Southerness, Dalbeattie, Dumfries loop on Saturday 9th September 2023 and popped in for brunch. The Waitress was lovely, chatty and helpful - nothing was too much bother, you could tell the Café was frequented by lots of regulars (always a good sign). We had the mini and full breakfast - food was delicious, hot and amazing value. The cakes and scones looked good too, unfortunately we didn't have the 'room' for one.

On a wee trip to Dalbeattie to watch the Mayhem Winch Challenge we stumbled upon a lovely little cafe called "The Granite Kitchen", we had the Cheese Burger and the Chicken burger which were both scrumptious 😊 the staff were very welcoming (even though we are English lol) the cafe was very clean and tidy would definitely recommend this place to anyone 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely lovely lunch we has in here on Wednesday. Lovely and clean, welcoming, staff were great too. I had a panini and Victoria sponge, my daughter had a bacon roll and chocolate brownie, my husband had the slab and Victoria sponge and my son had the kids lunchbox and chocolate brownie. We all ate the lot! Great value too. We totally recommend it here x

An excellent little cafe, with excellent breakfasts, try the Full Scottish! The burgers are also amazing. And the cake selection is fantastic. Stop by, it's well worth it.

Very tasty food and delicious home baking (we had coffee, filled baked potato and scones). Owner and staff all very pleasant. Nice for families and for a cup of coffee. Highly recommend.
