BROO Coffee

My new favourite place in Caterham! Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to sit down and relax while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee. The coffee shop is bright and airy and has a great seating area at the back overlooking the valley. The Salmon and Cream Cheese bagels are unreal! Not to mention how lovely the couple is who run it I cant wait to visit again!

Very good coffee and pastries. The ham and cheese croissant is delicious and the raspberry blondie I have no words to complement it. Staff are kind and attentive.

I have always wanted to go to a nice cafe with fresh pastries and cakes and this is the place for it! I’ve been so impressed with the freshness of cakes and pastries everytime. I am always welcomed by such friendly staff and the coffee is delicious. My new favourite coffee shop.

There are lots of places I can get a coffee in Caterham, but Broo is the only place I want to get a coffee. The coffee's great, the food is delicious and the service is friendly. What more could you want? Ever so slightly more comfortable seating, but everything else more than makes up for that!

Broo is a gem of a coffee shop, love their coffee, selection of delicious cakes as well as their savoury treats - especially love the vegan chickpea roll. Great to have such a brilliant coffee shop in Caterham please visit Jake and Sarah who are lovely hosts.

The best coffee or hot chocolate in Caterham by far. Very friendly service, delicious pastries or cakes and the dark hot chocolate is amazing. We also love that it’s dog friendly. Definitely recommend.

The coffee always hits the spot on my early morning commutes and the sandwiches and pastries are equally as delicious! Will be sad not to have this gem on my doorstep when I move out of Caterham soon. Keep up the great work guys! 🫶🏻

Visited for the first time yesterday with my partner.
Friendly staff and a great menu selection which I’ll need to try more of!
The Ham & Cheese croissants we had was very tasty.
We also had a coffee & hot chocolate which was also really enjoyable! It’s so nice to have a independent coffee shop in Caterham which I’ll definitely use again when on my walks or before travelling into London!

Myself and my partner visited mid morning on a Saturday. We had 2 coffees, 2 sweet treats, and a panini. Everything was super fresh, absolutely delicious, and didn’t break the bank. I’m pretty jealous that this isn’t my local station as I would be visiting each morning on the commute to work (although you don’t need to be travelling to visit). We will definitely be going back.

Excellent coffee, ham and cheese crossing an instant favourite. My daughter will always go for a millionaires shortbread which she said was delicious! Great to have a an excellent coffee shop before a train journey.

I have popped in a few times before getting the train in the morning and have been more than impressed! The service is quick and the interior has been decorated beautifully. The choice of food/drink are spot on and the owners are always friendly! What a great addition to Caterham :)

Just bought a coffee and a cinnamon whirl at Broo. Unfortunately I don’t live in Caterham, otherwise I’d be in here all the time. Place was spotless. Staff were polite and friendly. And one of the best soya lattes I’ve ever had. 😎

I've visited the newly opened BROO and each time delighted in the food and drink offerings at this modern, clean, light and airy independent café.

First off, the coffee is top notch and sustainably and ethically sourced. Decaf available too, alongside organic teas.

It's been great to have matcha and chai latte options, both of which were very nicely made and a joy to drink from a cosy and comforting mug while watching the trains come in. Will try the iced matcha as soon as spring warms up!

As for the dark hot chocolate, that is pure heaven ....and I had it without the generous topping of cream and marshmallows!

There's a decadent array of cakes, sweet treats, sausage rolls and sweet and savoury croissants which they toast for you if you like.

You can sit in or take away.

I had to stop myself from eating all of my daughter's cinnamon swirl! And they have a fantastic millionaires shortbread! I hear from others their brownies and cakes are delicious. Unquestionable quality and freshness.

That's one of the main things I like about the place. The owner has a clear understanding of food and drink quality and obviously respects the customer's palate.

I have treated myself to lunch there twice. I delighted in my Caprese focaccia with generous portions of mozzarella, tomato and pesto. Utterly delicious, and they do an alternative with prosciutto.

I've also had the bagel with smoked salmon and lemon cream cheese, this was so yummy and it's made that bit extra so by having freshly snipped dill blended in with the cream cheese. You can taste it's freshly made and with attention to detail.

They serve kombucha, vegan options and nice little on-the-go snacks and cold drinks.

The staff are friendly and charming too so all in all a very pleasant experience and highly recommended... I implore you to give it a visit; if you're getting the train it's a must!

My morning routine is Broo! Staff are brilliant and very polite. Perfect pick me up before you get on the train! Swerve costa and Nero……head straight to Broo!

Perfectly located, this lovely coffee shop serves delicious coffee and great food, along with extremely friendly and professional service. Always a pleasure to frequent.

So happy to see this cafe open by the station in Caterham. Delicious chai latte and friendly and welcoming attitude. Highly recommend!

A little gem! Coffee was the best I’ve had locally and the pastries were delish. Our two year old particularly enjoyed sitting and watching the trains from the window.
