Café Papillon

Found this cafe while in the area. Was very impressed. Food was reasonably priced and great quality. Staff were very helpful. Overall a great place to go.

We came here for breakfast it was great , Very good customer service and very good atmosphere we will definitely come back again.

It should be five stars because the food and coffee were so good. Also, the staff were friendly and efficient..
My partner and I had the club sandwich on granary - really good with a great salad (requested no onions - got no onions). Slightly pricey but I can understand that. It came with chips as well as the salad. I'm someone who eats everything but even I couldn't get through all the chips.
A suggestion ... lower the price and have chips as an extra option. That way, people can choose and there might be a little less food waste.
We'll be back for something different. There were some other nice things on the menu to try.

Absolutely the best bacon sandwich and coffee in Oxted. A must before catching the train to London.

Excellent service and helpful, friendly staff. Staff were extremely accommodating of my dietary requirements. Great food as always though did notice that cake portions are considerably smaller than my last visit 7 months ago . Definitely worth a visit 😊

Exactly what you would hope for from a cafe like this. Friendly service, clean high chairs and speedy food. The menu is classics rather than anything unexpected, think club sandwich, Caesar salad, English breakfast, soup of the day and a selection of fresh cakes. Our food came very quickly, was very good quality and decent sized portions; they also put together a simple cheese and tomato sandwich for our 1yr old daughter. Definitely worth a visit.

Really lovely place. I took my granddaughter and everyone was really accommodating, and friendly. The food was lovely. Would recommend and will return!

I had lunch there today, the food was absolutely delicious and servings fit for a king. New waitress Claire was very professional and informative considering it was her first day with them. Highly recommended!!

Love this place,food is awesome and staff are great. Iv missed having my bacon and brie baguette over the Xmas period,when are you open again? I had to settle for a wetherspoons panini,which was just not up to standard at all. Keep setting the mark hi guys and merry Christmas to you all

Absolutely amazing !!! I had continental breakfast and my husband had a full English, was so fresh and tasty! The cappuccino was just as my liking. The service was very professional and very fast. We definitely be going back very soon !! Thank you.

Nice little cafe on the "quieter" side of Oxted station. They do good breakfasts and great coffee. The employees always have a warm welcome for the regulars - and everyone else!
