What a absolutely fantastic dentist this is. I went to see Carl abbot for a half hour consultation after seeing another dentist elsewhere and not being happy with the results. From start to finish, he explained everything in depth, and as a extremely anxious patient, from the word go he made me feel at ease within minutes, I am booked in for treatment in a month as they are extremely busy, now I know why. Will review again after the treatment, but from first opinion I think I'm going to be just as happy if not more after my first consultation. Pity there are not more dentists around the area with the same treatment as this dentist..... Thankyou Carl...... Posted by Naomi debono

I have always been afraid of dental visits. Dentists, being busy people, tend to be brusce and impersonal, and I've had some bad experiences in my 73 years!
How very different the HAVEN practice was. The dentist was so kind and calm and considerate. She reassured me and made me feel relaxed. A lovely lady. The staff were all cheerful and chatty. A wonderful practice.

I've been with this dentist from opening week. All the staff are very helpful and as a wheelchair user a pleasure to visit. I can't say that for many places I attend. I know Andrew has retired and as yet haven't needed to go but I expect they will be as great as always.

I was sent to this practice by the NHS dental line as I did not have my own dentist, a few years ago I had a very bad experience with another dentist, they gave me a filling without any anesthetic even thro I kept telling them it was hurting really bad, I was terrified going to this practice, I explained this to them, from the welcoming me into the practice they made me feel at ease, I felt like a baby having to ask for dreading cream so I could not feel the injection after that I can honestly say I never felt a thing, The dentist said she just had to riddle the tooth around a little bit ,the next she was telling me how to look after the socket after the extraction, I could not believe that she had taken the tooth out. Thank you all x
I just notices my sisters name on top of this page but it was me Kerry Watkins that posted this review.

so there are 2 dentists operating in the haven..one is dr beesely a super guy super friendly very gentle and great communication seriously recommended. he completely re-instored my damaged faith in the dental profession. The other dentist (didnt get his name..little guy in his late 30's with glasses) has a serious napoleon complex, is rude, and is everything that his partner isnt...clumsy injections, aggressive extraction and a pig-ignorant attitude extremely condescending.....make sure you ask for dr beesely if you are coming here...

I was booked an emergency appointment by the NHS for severe pain, I was kept waiting for 45 mins as were others, while staff sang happy birthday to one of their colleagues. I was eventually seen by the dentist and nurse, who were both very rude and abrupt. They then proceeded to tell me my teeth were bad because of previous dental work and pain was to be expected, nothing they can do about it. I was told “if you want anything done about it, go somewhere else that offers private dental care”. Absolutely shocking service and out of 6 people on the waiting room I was the only one not complaining about the unprofessional staff and waiting time.

Oh dear. Phoned to see if they were accepting new patients, only to be answered by a very disinterested receptionist. "Dial 111 for emergencies." She said. I told her it wasn't an emergency. "I can't hear you." She said,(not surprising as in the background there was so much noise I could hardly hear her.
"It's not an emergency." I began again. "I'm looking to register with a dentist and. . ."
"We're not taking new patients. Call 111 if it's an emergency."
I thanked her(although for what I'm not sure) and thought, 'ok, she might have been busy, she could have been stressed. . ." No reason to be rude though. Zero out of 10 for professional conduct. I'll take my business elsewhere.' Not recommended.
