Signature String Quartet

Signature String Quartet were recommended by our wedding venue Sandon Hall and for good reason. They played our wedding ceremony and drinks reception and my only regret is that as the bride I did not get to enjoy their playing more, but from the parts I heard and videos that guests sent me, they did a beautiful job.

I dealt with Hannah for the entire booking process and she was extremely helpful with all of my questions no matter how daft. SSQ have an extensive catalogue of music they can play, however I made a specific request for a piece of music to walk down the aisle to. Hannah was able to source the sheets and SSQ learnt it specially for me, and I can't put into words how much this meant. It was such a beautiful touch in a beautiful day and I can't thank SSQ enough for learning and playing it so faithfully.

Thank you so much Hannah and SSQ for your work. I only hope to attend another event that you play at so I get to enjoy the full rendition!

I could not recommend enough, Hannah was so helpful with regards to booking and communication, we booked SSQ for our drinks reception and it really made it that extra bit special. We had so many compliments from our guests, they were wonderful!

Simply amazing! We hired Signature String Quartet for our wedding and they played all day including the ceremony, drinks reception and during our wedding breakfast. They.were.incredible!

Both Chris and I took our time scouring their very extensive repertoire and picked out all our favourite songs (and those of our late mums) from growing up ranging from some classical music such as Beethoven's Für Elise, songs from musicals like Edelweiss from the Sound of Music, classic Disney tunes like Tschaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Waltz and old film theme songs like Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters. Not to mention some of our favourite songs from the Beatles, Queen and Beach Boys. We even requested the Fawlty Towers theme tune to be played as the wedding breakfast was served and they were happy to do so which went down great.

They adapted well to the acoustics of the room as the venue was a small-medium sized barn but the volume was spot on; nice and clear but not too loud, the tempo of songs were great and the harmonies of each instrument were outstanding.

Music means so much to both of us, so to be able to incorporate this into our day with such a talented quartet meant the absolute world to us. Our guests commented on the music all day as well as after the wedding so they were definitely a memorable addition to the day. My family also joined in singing along to some of the upbeat songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody towards the end of the meal setting them up for an evening of dancing later on.

We are so grateful to SSQ and would love to see them play again so we can take in the music more and most definitely recommend to anyone for your wedding or event.

We had SSQ for our wedding ceremony in August. They were absolutely amazing and performed all of the songs we requested perfectly. There were a few songs which weren't listed in their repertoire but they were able to accommodate and acquire the score sheets. Our guests we’re raving about the string quartet for days after the wedding. Highly recommend!

Signature String Quartet played at our wedding hosted at Hanbury Wedding Barn last week, and they really brought an incredible atmosphere to our day. We and all our guests were taken aback by the fantastic music and we received so many comments! You were also a complete surprise to all our guests as we had kept you a secret! We picked a Disney/musical heavy selection from your repertoire which was loved by all and really made our day feel very bespoke! Signature String Quartet are absolutely amazing, I cannot recommend them enough. I first heard them perform at a Christmas concert in Birmingham a couple of years ago and knew then that I wanted a string quartet to play at my wedding. Thankfully they were available on our date and I am so so pleased they were able to play for the ceremony and our drinks reception, it made it so special. Their repertoire of music was incredible, there was so much to choose from and additional music could be requested too. All of the guests talked about how incredible and talented the guys were. If you are undecided about whether to go for a string quartet or not, wedding or any other event, definitely go for it. You will not be disappointed, particularly with Signature String Quartet

We booked Signature String Quartet for our wedding earlier in August and they were absolutely fantastic! We booked for the guest arrival, ceremony and drinks reception and it was the perfect backdrop for our day - all of the guests loved the music and the atmosphere it created!
The repertoire was really varied (and easily available). We picked a range of songs we definitely wanted and Hannah and the team just filled around those perfectly.
In terms of communication etc, all of our questions were answered quickly and clearly. Hannah was brilliant to work with and put us completely at ease!

I went home and told my partner we were hiring a string quartet! They were so accommodating of our postponements this last year and incredibly easy to work with. They offer such a varied repertoire and gave us plenty of choices with the music we wanted played. I would highly recommend them.

We initially saw Signature Strings play at a wedding fair, and I knew from then I would love to have them at our wedding. We booked them to play in September just gone & they were amazing! My only regret is that we didn't book them to play through dinner as well as the drinks reception, as we were whisked off for photos & I didn't get to hear them as much as I would've liked. The feedback from our guests however was 100%. Thank you for making our day more special :)

As soon as we heard Signature String Quartet playing at a wedding fair we went to, my now wife burst into tears … in a good way! We knew from then that they were the right choice for our wedding. The range of music they play is broad enough to suit any taste (we had so much choice!) and they are SO talented! Signature String Quartet played at our wedding in April and were absolutely amazing. We knew we had to have a quarter (husband plays the violin) and our choice was made as soon as we heard their rendition of 'Real Love'. From our original booking enquiry right up until the day, Hannah and the gang were so helpful, great at keeping in touch and able to answer all our questions. On the day they were amazing - our guests commented on how fantastic the music was during the ceremony and drinks reception afterwards. They played all our requests (including learning an arrangement of 'Blackbird' by the Beatles for our recessional piece and Variation 18 from Variations on a Theme by Paganini, both of which were so beautiful).
