Newton Dee Café

Dropped in today for a quick, quiet coffee and was not disappointed. Barista training was in progress, had a wee bit of a wait but was worth it. Top marks to Trainer and Trainee 👍🏻
Met Hugh, a stalwart of the Community, what a character! Chatted to a couple on table next to us, along with Hugh and really felt involved and welcomed. Cafe got busy as we chatted and everyone around just made the visit so good. Next trip to Aberdeen we have Newton Dee Cafe top of our list 🫡

Lovely atmosphere in unique community. In & Outdoor seating in serene setting close to railway line. Soups and bread are delicious and all served up by great team.

Great place. Really good atmosphere. The soup is delicious and healthy and the bread beautifully fresh. A selection of tempting home baked cakes are on offer. The architecture of the various buildings in the community is amazing and blends very well with the natural surroundings. The food in the cafe is reasonably priced.

Such a lovely place with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Great quality home made food and a tranquil setting.

Really lovely cafe for a light lunch although we usually come here for coffee and cake to be honest! Always nice to have a look around the adjoining craft shop for some unique gifts and also usually pick up a few items from the grocery store too, which holds many items not easily found elsewhere. Staff always seem very happy and friendly.

Newton Dee is a favourite place for me & my family to visit. Just stepping out of the car gives me a feeling of peace which deepens as I walk around, past the pond & on to the cafe.
The cafe itself is full of luscious aromas. Their soup is fresh & tasty and bread, oatcakes &/or rice cakes to accompany it. A meal in itself but it is worth keeping a space for their cakes and biscuits. Yummy. Gluten and dairy free is catered for.
Have a look at their gifts and cards displayed there - some of them are made by the folks who live at Newton Dee.
Don't leave without a visit to the shop next door - you will find some other fine things to buy, fruit, veg, cheeses, dried goods, sweets & much more.

The cafe is cosy and spacious.It is situated in a stunning green area. The staff are friendly. They make awesome cappuccino. Only the little thing that I don't like is that the menu for breakfast is so limited (only cakes and coffee). They do serve soups for lunch though. Any way I would rate the place full stars.

Always a pleasure to go. Relaxed and friendly. Nice soup and bread, lovely cakes and I must an exceptionally good strong espresso. Adjoining the very good Newton Dee Shop, also very well worth a detour for great products.

I enjoy having a leisurely lunch at Newton Dee Cafe in a relaxed atmosphere with delightful staff.

The organic soup with delicious choice of bread is fabulous.

Certainly well worth a visit.

Best coffee and the cakes are delicious, I would recommend the lemon and palenta cake, it's perfect and gluten free. The staff are kind and friendly and are more then willing to help with any inquiries that I had. I couldn't recommend it enough 10/10

Great place tasty coffee and cakes service was excellent woukd have had lunch however weren't serving meals when we went in great place worth a look if your in the area

Newton Dee Café and Store are great.
You can leaf through their books for sale while you enjoy lunch or a drink and bakery fancies or scones. Slip a cross to the store and buy some of the vegan, organic, gluten or dairy free items they sell along with fruit and veg or cheese. Or buy some of your old favourites like Tapioca or Semilina, the list is endless. Not to mention the creams and potions section where you'll find atures remedies etc.

Super café. Fabulous GF cake and coffee. Super prices. Parking can be tricky though

What a lovely place to visit. This is a community cafe. Fabulous places to walk near by.

Lovely place for a bite of lunch with a great shop attached to by whole foods and fresh spices. The bread baked on site is always a favourite.

Very nice place to walk to and sit down to enjoy a coffee and cake in pleasant surroundings, either inside or outside depending on the weather.

Wonderful place to visit, fantastic restaurant and shop ( you must try the Norwegian cheese)
The grounds are waiting to be explored, lots of animals to see.
