St Botolph's Church

It isn't that surprising that there are as many as 71 Churches dedicated to Saint Botolph in England he is the patron saint of travel after all . I have managed to get to 2 of them I need to get moving but both of these were special . This one in Cambridge is beautiful and an oasis of peace and quiet in a busy city .
It boasts the only remaining medieval rood screen in a parish church in Cambridge .

Went along to an Evensong earlier today, it was just myself and another man - George - who told me it’s typically only him on Fridays. The service was really lovely; quiet & reflective, & that really did help me put my mind to God. The church itself is gorgeous, too, & I would certainly love to come here again some day for a service of Holy Communion!

Lovely church, if you want to be calm this is a good place to pray.

A small but very old church with a long history. I recommend visiting, even if you are not a believer.

St Botolph's, uma igreja que fica no coração da antiga cidade universitária de Cambridge. Igreja dedicada a um santo padroeiro dos viajantes. Ela tem 700 anos. Muito bonitinha.

Quand on la voit de l’extérieur, on n’imagine pas un endroit si lumineux. St Botolph est le patron des voyageurs. Est-ce pour cela que la famille de Charles Darwin en était paroissienne? L’endroit est paisible, la sobriété rend l’église apaisante.

Une bien jolie petite église de Cambridge, avec un Saint Patron protecteur des voyageurs.
