Visited for post dinner cocktails! Can't remember the name of what I ordered but very nice. Great range of cocktails and the friends I was with all enjoyed theirs. Great atmosphere and loved the décor. When planning our weekend in Cambridge, this was on our list of places to visit and glad that we did as was perfect end to our evening out.

Now that, was an experience. The atmosphere. The service. The enjoyment factor was top tier. Bailey and Jo behind the bar are what I would recommend as one of the finest in hospitality. Not only do they know their stuff with cocktails, they know how to entertain. You name it, they know it. If I were to use one phrase to describe their service… it’s above and beyond! Morgan xo

We had an amazing time enjoying pre- and post- dinner cocktail drinks right before the holidays. The cocktail menus featured signature drinks with clever, scientific-inspired names alongside popular classics, and we tried both options – they were crafted beautifully. However, it would be great if they could expand their beer and lager choices. The staff was friendly and helpful, making it an overall enjoyable experience. Cheers!

My first time visiting this place. It is stunning! It was a Friday night so there was also live music. The cocktails were perfect. The combination of ingredients definitely make it feel like a chemical reaction exploding on the taste buds (in a good way). The cocktail descriptions in the menu are witty and fun, it’s been really well thought out. Also, they are not stingy with the alcohol. Most places have the tiniest amount of alcohol in their cocktails but at The Lab, after 2 cocktails I could definitely feel a bit groovy.

It was our first experience of The Lab, Cambridge. We were met by Bailey & Jo behind the bar who are wonderfully welcoming and knowledgeable for the taste that we enjoy with cocktails. Their experience and hospitality enticed us just to be adventurous with our drinks of choice. I would highly recommend trusting Bailey & Jo in their recommendations, as the experience we had would certainly bring us back to The Lab time and time again. Michelle

We were there for the Cambridge Jazz Festival (Tim Boniface). The setting was cozy and they had interesting cocktails, mocktails, low-alcohol cocktails etc that tasted good. I ordered a portion of their porcini croquettes which were quite yummy. Heard they have jazz sessions most Sundays.

We found this little gem on Saturday.

There's an extensive cocktail menu, and everything has a science-linked name.

The cocktails are absolutely delicious, and the staff are really friendly too and more than happy to talk you through what's on offer.

I'd definitely recommend this place. It's just a shame we don't live in Cambridge because we'd be regulars!

Went to the Lab on Valentine's night for a couple of drinks. These two vibrant, happy and positive gentlemen with big smiles served us. They were super lovely and friendly. Made our evening very pleasant. Not to mention that we loved watching them displaying their art of making beautiful cocktails 😍 Highly recommended

We had such a wonderful time at The Lab for our anniversary, with fabulous drinks and tasty snacks. Finally a proper cocktail bar where the bartender has actual skills and doesn't just pour things randomly in a cup. It has instantly become a favourite place.

Recently refurbished and offering a great experience. Service is great, and the cocktails are extremely varied with something for everyone. Some very theatrical ones too! It's about £11 a cocktail so it's not cheap, but I think it's worth it, nobody was disappointed with any of their drinks.
The only complaint is that their mocktail selection is very small.

We popped in for a night cap, although it was pretty quiet there was still a good atmosphere about the place. The drinks aren't cheap, but no where is these days, and for a drink served with a bubble of smoke as a garnish, it's pretty swish.

Had a brilliant time celebrating my birthday, enjoying the best drinks in town in an awesome setting. The staff must've seen on my booking why we came, and the surprise plate was a lovely addition. Considering they've only been open a couple weeks I'm excited to see what the future holds. Easily the best bar in Cambridge! Great selection of proper mocktails as well

I had a wonderful time here. The mixologists were amazing and made us the best martinis and cosmos. Definitely recommend coming

Absolutely delicious drinks and lovely atmosphere. You do have to get up and get your own drinks at the bar but the whole place is arranged around the bar so it's not a hassle. If you like playful drinks this is the place for you!

I went to the lab on Monday for industry night and had an amazing time. The service was amazing and I would highly recommend giving it a visit.

Cool place to pop in for a cocktail or two! Lovely margarita. Place was well themed and had a nice atmosphere. Friendly bartenders too!
