Aylesbray Lodge

I'm leaving this review a little bit late as I stayed late last year.

Absolutely brilliant service, I had to book last minute due to issues I had with previous accomodation and Anna took me in last minute very late in the evening.

The rooms are clean and comfy, (I stayed on two different occasions both in the singles) with Wi-fi, TV and kettle and Anna, the host, is lovely and very willing to help!

I absolutely recommend this little gem, it's not far from a Co-op for some necessities or The Coffee House round the corner and there's plenty of buses into Cambridge, or if you're cycling there's the main road into Cambridge which has wide cycle paths!

Could not be more accommodating (no pun) and having parking is a very good facility. It's very handy for Addenbrookes, but the bus services from there into the city are cheap and plentiful. So the location is great. The room I'm in is nicely furnished, clean and has everything you need. WiFi is fast. What's not to like? At this price point - top of the league.

One of the best places i have stayed in the Uk. Its way better than a hotel room, private bathroom, bug bed and a tv screen with netflix ! Everything we needed was there, and the host it really friendly and guided us what to do in cambridge !

On seeing my height, George very kindly upgraded me to a double room. Service was excellent, and the room had everything I needed; wifi, freeview, onsuite.

It was great

Anna was very friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. The only downsides were the WiFi didn't work at all. Also we had a neighbour come round to ask us for money for her electric bill, claiming she was the owners daughter.
