I came to Clark for a handful of lessons after playing for about 3 months with a handicap that was probably in the 30s. I was nervous before getting lessons that I wasn’t good enough to be taught, but Clark was very good at listening to my goals and didn’t make me feel embarrassed in any way.

Each lesson we had, he would suggest small changes that I could make to see improvements. He would show me videos of my swing explaining what he meant and so was easy to understand. We’d space out the lessons enough so I could go away and practice what we’d spoken about.

It wasn’t long before I started to see scores in the 80s, and a handicap down to around 17/18. This was after about 3-4 months of lessons.

I have since had a club fitting with him and bought some new kit. He was very knowledgable in suggesting what he thought would work for me and clearly has a lot of experience in club fittings.

Overall, would definitely recommend lessons with Clark if wanting to improve your game. The whole experience has been far from daunting and everyone I’ve met at the club has been very friendly.

Have lessons here with Clark who has been running the business since January, the shop seems to be going from strength to strength, and with prices matching the on-line retailers there is no reason not to buy from here, plus you get honest advice which in itself is priceless.
