Asda Peterlee Superstore

I recently visited Asda Peterlee and had a generally positive experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, making my shopping trip enjoyable. It was interesting to learn that some locals still refer to it as Fine Fare, highlighting the store's long-standing presence in the community. However, I did hear a few people expressing nostalgia for the old Asda store, suggesting they preferred its layout or atmosphere. Despite that, the modern amenities and wide product selection make the new Asda Peterlee a convenient option for shopping.

All really good quality people in this store... big up to the ladies on the pizza section they are nice friendly fast... rambunctious and refined ladies all at all the same time...
Asda you should give them a raise...

Great for food & clothing and quite a bit more staff really helpful and friendly and overall great selection and service.

Great store for all your household shopping, including, clothing, toys,seasonal goods ect. Great parking and easy access from the town center and bus station. Excellent customer service.

I was in Asda cafe today when a lovely lady took ill and required first aid. The cafe team and Ian, the store's first aider were all amazing in this situation. I have always found the staff in this store really approachable and helpful. However, today the cafe team and Ian really went over and above and luckily the lady is now fine. Thank you all very much.

Lady thought she lost bag staff went above and beyond to help including searching closed car park and checking CCTV. Bag was found elsewhere.

Lovely large store plenty of produce, and prices are really low.

Has everything you need and more. Free and safe parking the staff are super friendly and helpful. Shelves are always stocked and the fresh produce is fab one of the best asdas I’ve been to. Excellent service

Good store not massive

Excellent service especially from the till employe ed is what he had on his badge security was spot on as well all employees I seen where smiling and happy in their work

As I work locally , we visit Asda a couple of times a week. Usually go for coffee., the staff service is great, especially Paula. Always seems happy to see us, remembers what drinks we want. Staff always seem really busy, but we always get service with a smile. Thank you for making us feel like a valued customer. Looking forward to seeing you on our next visit. Pam

Used to go there with my mam since I was 4 years old I'm 14 now Great food great value escalators are cool too it's fun great work ASDA!!

Nice store high standards o always complain at standard of plants wilting, dead , not watered loosing alot of profit as not worth buying them shame lovely range but tte section needs staff to take care of plants like the flower section general storegreat staff always helpful plenty of stock very wide range covid to good standards

Gave 5 stars due to Anne Edwards review. It looks like, from what I can gather she is trying to articulate herself in English. She would like three toilets instead of one I believe. Hardly warrants a down vote because she needs a choice on where she puts her anus.

Large superstore stocking all the essentials and a lot of other items, everything in one place , helpful friendly staff, toilet facilities and a cafe . Large car park and close to castle dene shopping centre.

Great shop, does get busy at times
