Well stocked shelves plenty of choice good value for money. Pleasent abd helpful staff.

Always like to shop after 8 pm
In out and away .staff helpful.

Nice big wide clean aisles. Items clearly displayed. Neat ,clean & tidy store. Modern shed ,good clear lighting .
Helpful staff.Unlike other shops there's always some staff member close to hand to help you. And this in spite of the fact that staff numbers have been cut down upon severely. And you don't have to wait for ages at Customer Services to get served . Staff communications system is excellent . Someone always appears as if by magic within minutes of being paged.
Security staff work hard to keep everybody safe by weeding out any potential troublemakers & dealing with them firmly whilst still looking looking after customers.
The store is kept clean by an invisible army of cleaning staff.
A big effort is made to get all goods on the shelves during the quiet times so you're not tripping over staff & goods.
I particularly like the non groceries section . Wide range of groceries too.
The only down side nowadays is the near lack of Asda own brand goods . I couldn't find any .Not sure if this is due to the pandemic or a deliberate policy change by owners Walmart to stock branded goods only. So I dont do my grocery shopping there anymore. I just stick to buying fresh produce, wines , flowers & loo rolls etc & go elsewhere for my tinned & packaged groceries.
Still I enjoy shopping here very much indeed notwithstanding all the above.

Staff here are friendly and willing to help you if they can. A good cross section of stock. Fairly priced products. Clothing is good value. 2 hours Free parking if you spend a fiver!

Just a note on parking (see Joseph Ellis review) ASDA do not operate the car park. The car park is operated by Sefton Council and it is them that charge for parking. ASDA however will refund your parking fee on condition that you keep the refund voucher. Spend a minimum of £5 in store and refund a maximum of £1.60. It is the only shop on this site to do this. Good service from them then I think.

Great for shopping look for the bargains free parking after 6:00pm but can get money back if you spend £5:00 in ASDA

I went to Asda southport to pick my glasses up from opticians unfortunately there had been a mix up over the opening. As I had rung up to check if they would be open yesterday A young lady on customer services was very good she rang up her manager and arranged for us to have a coffee and cake in resturant while we waited for it to open and came with us to make sure we recieved it she was on the desk at 11.45 am.

Got everything I went in for a very good selection of grocerys also it has a george clothing

I wasn't so packed, but thats not saying a weekend could be different it was clean everything was signposted where stuff was it was good shopping there

Asda is the best store that we shop in as it has everything you probably need, all the food stuff you could want pluss other essentials from toilet rolls to shampoo, there is also a chemist that will fill your prescriptions or just sell you some cough syrup, the cafe has some great food snack drinks my wife and i like the hot chocolate, then there is the opticians where i go for my check up and glasses, overall you can get almost anything here, the staff are very friendly and helpfull and most of them like my wifes Guide Dog and like to make a fuss, i highly recomend Asda you wont be disapointed

Love the bagged and bowl salads especially bagged iceberg as it last for ages and the Mediterranean bowls.

Quality and fresh products!

Wouldn't go so far as to say I love any supermarket, but the shopping experience at ASDA is pretty painless with friendly, helpful staff always ready to help, so 10/10 & a gold star!

It may be a small store by comparison but the friendly nature and helpfulness of the staff more than make up for that and at least they pay for you to park if you spend £5 or more.

Very pleased with latest trip here, I went for clothes and there was a sale on. And a few food essentials

I find asda pretty good .but I have noticed I can not find where to scan the NHS covid app.as this should be at the door.
