Brilliant little hidden gem. Super lovely and kind staff. Gorgeous setting. Yummy food. I would recommend this place to everyone. Family friendly. Great place.

I love this place, took my in-laws recently for brunch. Really tranquil and the food is always good quality. Service is usually pretty good but I think they were training a new lad so he was a little off the usual standards, nothing to be grumpy about though.

Food was really good totally love the breakfast and the scenery was amazing. Staff were very friendly and food came really quick. Will definitely will return but when it is a bit warmer

Great little hidden gem.
Had the cooked breakfast and a coffee for around £16. Fantastic value for the quality of food, no complaints at all.
Bought a slice of the Victoria sponge to take away for later and it too was lovely.
Will be back!

The approach road is very poor quality, wouldn't recommend for lower cars (found out the hard way!)

Had a fantastic afternoon tea. Service was great - quick and very friendly. Had to book the afternoon tea in advance but well worth it and it was ready as soon as we got there. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely. Highly recommended!

Went for lunch on Saturday, the food was amazing. The cakes....WOW!!!
Everything was well organised, the staff were amazing. Had a real giggle with a lovely lady ( didn't get her name, but I think she may well be the person that runs the show)

Our first time here and we were instantly made to feel welcome. Very friendly staff, great service and lunch was delicious! Hubby ordered Bacon Brie & Cranberry Pannini with a side order of thick cut chips. I had Fish Finger Sandwich and shared his chips 😜 We will definitely return again. Thank you all so much 😊

Nice place for a meal, or a cup of tea and cake.
Nice staff and environment. Meal with a view to the lake. There's tables outside facing the lake. Big car park, the only downside is the road full of potholes, have to have a careful driving.

Lovely cafe in a hidden location next to the lakes and river Blackwater. Good views and landscapes. Decent cafe at reasonable prices. Seating inside and out and really good on a summers day. Staff are good and helpful. Really good place to plan your walk around. A hidden gem.

Really nice little place, very clean and well set out. The food here is lovely, nice variety of breakfast and lunch options as well as a fantastic selection of cakes.
You can get a wonderful view of the lake and the staff there are really friendly and efficient, highly recommended this hidden gem!

I went there one evening for a quick stroll. Place is at very great and beautiful location. The lake seems more beautiful with a cake and coffee.

Very nice place to eat. A nice view across the lakes, swans, ducks, geese etc wandering around. Food was nice. Cooked fresh and looked lovely on the plate.
A good selection of drinks too.
Definitely worth a visit.

First visit. We will return and have something else on the menu. Lovely overlooking the lake. Will be lovely in the summer. Shame about the state of the road to get to the lake.

Had the standard breakfast option with hash brown n tomato. All very tasty and filling. Pity about the rain otherwise the seating area outside would have been a great place to sit and enjoy my breakfast.

Absolutely love this place the staff are excellent,the cooked food is lovely,also has a great variety of cakes ..also gluten free...you can sit inside if it's chilly or if it's hot and sunny you can sit outside by the lake...nothing better than a cold beer or hot drink sitting in sun watching the wildlife...we have been dozens of times,it never fails
