MamGu Welshcakes Saundersfoot

Small cafe which welcomes dogs. On our lunchtime visit, we had the cawl and a wrap with beetroot falafel. Both were excellent. There were many different varieties of Welsh cake - both sweet and savoury. One of our party had the cranberry and white chocolate version, and a mocha version, which were also excellent. We saw a breakfast being served which looked wonderful! All in all, would thoroughly recommend this cafe.

Today is our 2nd visit.
The 1st being a couple of days ago for coffee and welshcakes. ☕

They welcomed us and our 2 wet and sandy dogs, inside as it was raining!!! ☔

Amazing welsh cakes…too many different flavours to try in my first (of many) visit today. But they all looked amazing. Lovely sunny day today, and there was plenty of outdoor seating and dog bowls with water. We had really good coffee and a mint tea. Servers were very polite and helpful.

A lovely cafe by the harbour which is dog friendly too. Had a lovely veggie breakfast with my mom and a doggy box of sausage bits for the dogs. Lovely staff, friendly and kind, great food and location. Also loved the cappuccino's and Welsh cakes for gifts to take home. Hope to return to this gem,on another holiday.

If you are visiting Saundersfoot then this is a must on your list of places to visit.

Enjoy a nice flavoured Welsh cake (they have a huge range) and a hot drink before having a stroll along the beach.

We tried several of the Welsh cakes and they were all delicious and moreish.
The hot drinks were of equal quality, the hot chocolate was particularly decadent too!

Staff are friendly and attentive and are part of what makes you want to return!

What a pleasant surprise! This place is quite different. We had excellent small savoury plates of welshcakes with 3 bean chilli and a leak, cheddar and beans welshcakes.
All served with a smile and great flat white coffee . Highly recommended this cafe that offers something quite different and does it very well.

Great service, great location, lovely cosy atmosphere. Fabulous coffee, great range of welsh cakes and a delicious sounding food menu. Will be back for lunch!

Had possibly the best Welsh cakes I’ve ever had today! Staff were really friendly and patient whilst we chose from loads of options. Coffee was really nice and an overall relaxing experience sitting outside overlooking the harbour. This is slightly out of town but only a 5 min walk, I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Saundersfoot!

Absolutely lovely Welsh cakes, and coffee, we are a family of Welshcake makers, so interested in the different flavours, they were all fantastic! Great coffee, really enjoyed our treat!!

Coffee, Welsh cakes, and a walk along the beach. A dream of a day! I would highly recommend MamGu's Welsh cakes (and their coffee). They offer a variety of flavours and lots of vegan options. Put me out to pasture because life has peaked.

First visit. Very friendly welcome and service with a smile (and to all who came in during my visit). Very tasty hot chocolate and the beetroot & chocolate brownie was excellent 😋 👌

Fabulous breakfast, local butchers sausage and savoury weshcake were the highlights, tasy and filling 😁

Just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful people at the café. We came in with a very wet German Shepherd and very hyper 4 year old and the staff were brilliant. We felt awful that my little one spilt his drink and my dog made such a mess of the floor but they were so kind. And the Welsh cakes were delicious. Lovely place.
