I wish I could give 10 stars for Isa’s excellent skills and hospitality!

This is my second time visiting his studio. Last year, after reading all of his 5-star reviews here, I brought a wool suit to him to mend two small holes. He pointed out frankly that he couldn’t mend it perfectly, and recommended another tailor to me. Although I didn’t buy any service from him, I was so impressed by his honesty, friendliness, and pursuit of great quality. When he told me he was good at manipulating the sewing machine, I knew it was 100% true.

Therefore, a few days ago, I took a pre-loved pleats skirt to him to take the waist out. It was complicated. The previous owner should have taken the waist in and I realized it shouldn’t be the original design. So I took it to Isa, trying to recover the original design. I had an intense brainstorm with Isa and then happily left the skirt to him. A fees days later it was ready to collect - it was such a great work!! He has incredibly managed to recover the skirt from what it looks like on the first picture to the second. And price is also great of value. Thank you so much Isa!!

Purchased a pair of motorcycle trousers recently and they were very baggy and loose. Many places turned me away when I asked them if they could potentially make them more fitted.

I called Isa and asked if he could take a look at them. I went down the same day he took his time in understanding what I wanted doing and made it happen absolute gold service with a quick turn around I highly recommend!!

100% recommend. Isa altered my tuxedo and a t shirt for me. Asked for a classical taper on the trousers and shortened sleeve with more of a cinched wasted on the jacket and it’s now perfect. Very nice guy, will be going back for anything else I need 👍🏼

I took my bridesmaid dress to Isa this morning for an urgent alteration and he turned it around on the same day and it’s such a great job.

Granted I had repairs done and not alterations but I have used a great many tailors and seamstresses over the years due to years in uniform and they have been from al over the world.

The quality is outstanding and notably so as was the speed of turnaround getting my items done for Remembrance weekend ahead of time.

I won’t be going back to my two Saville Row tailors for minor works anytime soon with this on offer local to Oxford.

It’s a hard area to impress people in as the results are so visible.

I called Best Quality Alterations on a Wednesday evening to take out some trousers from 30" waist to 32". He managed to fit me in the next day and had sorted my trousers for me by lunch time. It was a very thorough and professional job, taking out the waist and also upper legs, very reasonably priced and accomodating for my requirements. I would highly recommend using this tailor.

High quality work! I sent 2 dresses for alteration. Both of them came out perfectly. Especially the night cocktail dress, it fits like a glove. Highly recommended for anyone to use the service. Isa, the owner, is very polite and professional. Price is affordable.

Absolutely excellent service and quality. I don’t think 5 stars is enough! I first made contact with Isa on the Tuesday, took my skirt and top in on the Wednesday and collected on the Thursday! Super-quick turnaround and the items looked like new! Isa was also readily prepared to help when I thought the skirt had been taken in too much (but I had just tried it on after a big dinner!!). Excellent, speedy and professional service!

High-quality, friendly and fast service. I went to see Isa to get some jacket sleeves shortened. He suggested several other alterations to my three-piece suit and the result was fantastic. Superb service! What a professional in both his alteration skills and his people/communication skills. Isa did excellent work on altering and hemming a difficult pair of pants.
