Hugo lovage patisserie

Adorable patisserie- won the best in south England (I think) last year! We had a lemon meringue tart that was great. The other pastries looked delicious as well. So many options it was hard to decide! Would also recommend the other family business Thyme & Lovage cafe

Absolute fantastic service, never mind the adorable food!
We had 8 afternoon tea’s (5x standard, 1x gf, 2x veggie) for a birthday celebration. To say that the result was way beyond what was expected is certainly an understatement.
Well worth sampling for yourselves.

We recently used Hugo Lovage Patisserie for our wedding cake and they did the most wonderful looking and tasting cake. From my very loose brief they created a cake that was even better than I could have imagined. It was delicious too!

Cindy made an incredible celebration cake for our wedding and supplied individual cake pots for all of our guests. As well as looking fantastic, they all tasted delicious!

Whilst travelling through Burford on my way home I noticed this lovely patisserie. The details on the A stand outside were enough to draw me in. It was late in the day and the shelves were a little bare, but that didn't stop me picking 3 exquitely prepared pastries. I took them home and shared these straight away. They were truly delicious. The service in the store from Cindy who I suspect had been on her feet all day was 1st class, warm and welcoming. This won't be my last visit, and I highly recommend fellow lovers of all things sweet, delicate and delicious to pay a visit

If you’re planning a trip through the Cotswolds stop at this darling shop if you have the chance. We stopped for macaroons, hot chocolate and a lemon tart. All the treats were delightful. You won’t regret their amazing macaroons!

Wow!!!! Sylvia and I are having a lovely getaway in the Cotswolds and we are delighted in the beauty we are seeing then, on Burford High Street BOOM!!!! We were blessed to walk into Hugo Lovage Patisserie. Sylvia and I have traveled all over Europe and have been to Paris more than 30 times. Sylvia tries lemon meringue tart everywhere we go. Never, NEVER have we had such a stunningly delicious tart as we had here. This started a conversation with Cindy who we were so lucky to meet. She is living her dream here and we and everyone who enters her wonderful shop are blessed by it. Go there immediately and experience heaven with locally sourced sausage for the best sausage roll in the world. Get a Dirty Chai with your order and you will be immediately planning how you can get back to
this amazing place. By the way Cindy is a blast, so fun and friendly. My favorite place in the Cotswolds, don’t miss it.

Another visit to the lovely Cotswold town of Burford,there are so many unique and individual shops here to see and this is one of them,the first thing that captures your imagination is it's window display with the large meringue , macaron and iced cakes in the form of a Christmas tree......This is definitely a lovely little cake shop in the heart of this Cotswold town.....👍

WOW! The celebration cake Cindy produced for my 50th birthday celebration was out of this world. Beautifully executed design. Show stopper colours and decorations. An incredibly delicious cake. Amazing skill and attention to detail - I didn't want to cut it! From ordering to picking up - just a totally smooth experience. Thank you!

I bought two cakes yesterday, even though they were quite big they didn't last!! They were very tasteful, not too sweet, excellent! I'll come back soon.

Bought honey cake and pistachio blondie to share with my Mum and Dad. Both so delicious. Dad and I hardly got a look in with the blondie as my mother adored it. Honey cake is a perennial favourite with everyone, we can now add the blondie to that list. Hurray. Such a Fantastic patisserie 🤩

Walking through Burford and stumbled upon this lovely shop
Selling a vast array of lovely treats.
Opted for a lemon meringue tart and a salted caramel gateau.
I have to say the staff were enthusiastic about their produce. You could tell they loved their work.
All I can say is bravo 👏 you made us very happy that evening, our treats were the best I’ve tasted.

What a lovely afternoon Tea. We booked in and when we got there there was this amazing tower if treats waiting for us. They come in a special tower that can be used to take home anything you can't manage. The other cakes and pastries looked lovely, the staff were lovely, we will definitely be back again.

One of the most talented bakers I've ever seen! You will struggle to find anything that's not good here. Will. Be back!

I forgot to take a picture of the cakes, i ate them. Seriously the staff here were so amazing, even spoke to the chef who was outstanding, they are passionate about what they do and just generally great people.

The store sits a picturesque and historic village, they have really cool displays. Right now its a huge gingerbread house for Christmas.

On to the cakes. So they have a great variety and can tell you all about it. They are well presented, and the taste is sublime. We went back for more. Definitely if you need something sweet call in on them.
