Llanrhidian Holiday park

What a fab holiday park! The accommodation was spotless and the hot tub was a lovely bonus for us. Also really impressed that we had WiFi in the caravan, just a shame it didn’t state this on the website as if we would’ve known we would’ve brought a fire stick with us.
The caravan was well stocked and had everything you’d need including towels and small bottles of toiletries.
Even though we didn’t use the outdoor pool due to the weather, we checked it out and it looked fab. It does say it’s heated but it still wasn’t warm enough for March, but for the warmer months it would be ideal.
The shop was handy and really reasonable compared to other holiday parks we’ve stayed at. The shop staff were great too.
The soft play at The Purple Badger was fun! You just have to book hourly slots. We managed to book two slots back to back so my little girl made the most of it whilst we had a drink.
The whole site is so clean and the staff are lovely and friendly. Someone came around every morning to check the chemicals in the hot tub too. We would highly recommend this site. We had an absolute bargain and would definitely return!

We totally scored with this park. Managed to get a cheap deal and we were NOT disappointed! The staff were fantastic, especially the maintenance team! It's clean, full of things to do e.g. swimming, big soft play, on site pub and restaurant, shop, play park, basketball court, football field and the Gower is easily accessible from here. I pretty much can't rate it enough. None of us wanted to leave! Plus we had the bonus of a hot tub with our static home, which was checked every day. In a word, it was wonderful. Can't wait to go back 🙏🏼❤😎

An amazing stay at llanrhidian Holiday Park. The site is in a lovely location and we had views of the sea and a castle from our lodge. Our lodge was outstanding! We stayed in a two bedroom lodge which was stylishly decorated, immaculately clean and really comfortable. Reception were really helpful and although we didn't get to use the other facilities we heard great things about the on site restaurant. We had such a lovely and relaxing stay and I cannot recommend this place enough. Fantastic!

Rented a platinum lodge with hot tub. Fantastic lodge, which was cleaned really well (felt like we were the first to use the lodge) 👍 food in the restaurant was really really good. I am pretty sure we will come back. The staff here should be really proud.

Update. 4/6/2024 - Just come back from another stay here, happy to report standards just as good as first visit. Special mention to the pool attendant, really pleasant young lady.

Stunning location. Spotlessly clean site. Spotlessly clean accommodation. Friendly and welcoming staff. Extremely delicious food in the Purple Badger. We loved our first stay and will be returning asap.

Really nice place to stay. There are plenty of places to walk around. We had caravan next to fence so we could hear birds in the morning. Food is worth going for. They have a swimming pool and gym. Restaurant and shop.

Friendly staff all round.
Club house staff member Ricardo was very polite and happy to help. Exceptional service always greeted with a smile

Beautiful park staff were friendly and informative facilities were very clean and. well cared for. Gower was fantastic for a quiet break

Lovely place to stay with some fantastic beaches within a 15-20min drive. The purple badger is a lovely family oriented place with lovely food!! So much so that was the main place to eat for my 8 day stay!!! Their seafood menu was just delicious 😋 the staff are really friendly & I'm kicking myself for not getting one ladies name that really looked after us. Hopefully she'll know me by the Nanny with the three grandchildren that treated them to grown up meals & she thought they were delightful. Well we thought she was wonderful too & Hopefully she'll see this & accept our most humble thanks for making our time there extra special.

Even in the pouring February rain, this park is a delight. The caravan was first class and all staff were amazing. We’ll most certainly be back again!

Lovely place to stay, we booked a platinum caravan. It’s not far from local beaches that are dog friendly all year around. It has an on site bar with entertainment, a pool table and dart board. The heated outdoor pool was warm enough with an outside air temp of 19 deg.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge in caravan, at the pool and bar area.

After looking around the site, when we had had a delicious meal at The Purple Badger (the park's restaurant) on a previous visit to Gower, we booked a 3 night rental unit on the holiday park, although we could only stay for 2 nights. We were attending a nearby small music festival, so we were really only sleeping at the park, although I had an hour to walk around one morning.

From this limited experience, we liked almost everything important and will probably stay again. The place is immaculate and very quiet around the units. The 2-bedroom unit we rented was very clean (except for the shower soap trays), spacious, tons of storage, and everything we needed. This included towels and a tea-towel (and a small washing up liquid, sponge and dishcloth), although the booking confirmation had told us to take these.

However, the double mattress was very poor, I could feel the springs and, if one person turned over, the other felt it.

The fairly new shop was pretty good, with croissants etc baked in store, nice bread and a reasonable range of provisions, drinks and holiday needs in stock.

Staff and other residents were friendly. There are lots of trees, meaning lots of birds, including (surprisingly) a Cuckoo calling on our last morning.

Beautiful place to stay, our caravan was amazing. Beautiful views of the estuary and a lovely dog walk there too definatly has a wow factor. Purple badger pub/restaurant was lovely, everyone friendly on the park, especially the receptionist at the centre. Very helpful.

What a great holiday. Perfect if you want something a bit more relaxed. Kids loved the hot tub and the onsite pool. Amazing food served in the purple badger and the caravan os spotless. Will definitely be coming back

This Holiday Park has turned around completely since our last stay!!
Reception staff, Cath and Linda extremely helpful and friendly on check in, all the new Blue Badger bar staff were brilliant.
There is now a new husband and wife team running the kitchen, Cosmic the new Chef is extremely talented, really knows his stuff and his food is superb! Well worth the money.
Now onto the accomodation, we stayed in a lodge in the Woods once again excellent, spotlessly clean, well maintained and kitted out to the highest standard, with high quality bedding and mattresses.
I really cannot recommend this Park enough, also when we stayed earlier this year (2023) we were told that the new onsite shop will be opening soon, which will be a fantastic addition to the facilities on offer.

Didnt stay here but the Purple Badger pub/restaurant on site is great

Stayed here as was treated for my birthday. I have no bad words to say. The premier lodges are exquisite has all facilities needed and so does the park. Restaurant a bit pricey but food was lovely.

This is part of John Fowler holidays, we came here because we had used the company for the previous 2 yrs but in Cornwall, we had a 3 bedroom platinum Lodge with hot tub, the lodge was outstanding, it was super clean, central heated but really warm when not switched, on 2 bathrooms and all the mod cons, towels and made up beds included. No hidden charges, the site is a nice clean one with a restaurant, outdoor pool and a shop which is about to open shortly. It is situated about 20 mins from the M4 and about 40 mins from Swansea, loads of local beauty spots to go and visit too . We will be going back again some time soon
