Really well managed with social distancing and cleanliness. They were really accommodating with dietary requirements. The Brie and red onion panini was A1 and the chocolate muffin was 🤤. Really friendly staff. Would recommend you go there. 👍🏼

Great social distancing measures, it felt really safe and yet still friendly, the food was delicious as always. I highly recommend the goats cheese and red onion chutney panini. The smoothies and frappes are great on hot days.

A lovely volunteer run cafe with a variety of food and drink options. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are always really friendly!

One of my favourite cafes in Colchester. The staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful and there's a really good range of food. The Traidcraft and handmade craft shop there is a good place to buy cards and gifts.

This is a great place to eat or drink in. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient and have a wide choice of very well prepared food and drinks.

Lock down 3.0 19th July 2021. Most Covid regulations in England are repealed today. The Oak Tree Coffee House is a community venture created by St Luke's Church in Colchester Essex. Thank you Pastor. Many of the staff, baristas, managers and Pastor volunteer in the Oak Tree. Enjoy your teas, coffees, cakes, sandwiches and toasts. My favourite pastry is Brioche Fruit Scone served with butter and Wilkins marmalade. Mouthwatering, delicious. Afternoon Tea is available in the Oak Tree Cafe. A delicious selection of finger sandwiches, fruit scone, or cheese scone, four different cakes, and unlimited drinks. Good menu and services. April 2022. Congratulations to all the staff, managers, volunteers and Pastor Hannah Cooper for the hard work. Oak Tree Coffee House has been shortlisted for the national Sammies Award 2022. All the best. May 2022. Unfortunately, the Oak Tree did not win the Sammies Independent Retailer Award this year. We will come back next year. Thank you.

Food and service were very good.
Food portions are big and taste amazing

This is my favourite coffee spot in Colchester. First, they have good coffee - a must. They also have good WiFi but most of all they're friendly, bring your coffee to you after ordering and the place is generally spotless! What's not to like?

I love this shop. It's mostly staffed by volunteers looking for experience or who have a learning disability. The coffee is great, the food is awesome and it's a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

First visit this afternoon and loved it! I had a yummy cream tea which was excellent taste and value, but the best part were the lovely staff. Will definately be back thank you
